American Lasagna

This is a great recipe, but next time I will make a few adjustments. For one, I will only use 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar, more cheese (both mozza and ricotta), use 1lb ground beef and 1/2 lb Italian sausage and use diced tomatoes with basil and garlic. The basic recipe is very, very good and I had no complaints from my boyfriend, I just want to make it a bit more my own. Thanks!!!

Brown Family's Favorite Pumpkin Pie

This was amazing! I made it for my boyfriend who has tried all the pumpkin pies in the world and he adored it! I even like it and I HATE pumpkin pie. Make this recipe without any alterations and much confidence. Thanks!!!

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Unbelievable! I made it for my boyfriend's family this past thanksgiving and it was a total hit! They loved it and so did I...everyone was fighting over the last pieces. I should have made two...man this recipe is delicious. In fact, I'm starting to crave a pie right now. Plus, the ingredients are just too simple and they are things you'd carry in your house anyway. Make this with confidence.

Milk Tart

I am a South African myself and this recipe was perfect! I've been looking for one for a while now, since my old recipe took much too much time. This recipe was delicious and I will be making this again and again for my Canadian friends! Thanks! (Just a note- you can use an unbaked pie shell from the store if you are short on time. Just follow the directions and pour the filling in. It's also a little less sweet this way. Thanks again!

Tiny Chicken Turnovers

I used a pre-made pastry for this recipe since I was short on time. I accidentally made the filling much, much too salty (I think it was my own fault though) and had to add more chicken and milk to remedy. Overall though, a great recipe and idea for appetizers. Turned out delicious despite my shortcomings!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

UNBELIEVEABLE! I've never made chili. I've never even LIKED chili and this recipe changed my mind. It was delicious and I froze the extra and it still tasted amazing upon reheating. I would definitely recommend this recipe. Enjoy!

Linguine with Clam Sauce

Delicious- my boyfriend didn't like it because he doesn't like creamy sauces in general, but I loved it. Have made it twice already now and it's perfectly easy to whip up after a long day at work.

Cheese Garlic Biscuits II

Loved it! Very much like the Big Boys biscuits that I do love so much. Quick and easy. Will add a bit more salt next time but I'm not sure if I added enough to begin with since I eyeballed the measurements. Great recipe!!

Carrot Cake III

Great recipe...added half brown sugar instead of all white and added 1/4 nutmeg. I didn't use all of the icing sugar because I wanted a bit more cream cheese flavour. I'd say I used about 3/4 of what was recommended. Thank you so much!! LOVED THIS. Note: I did not add the pineapple or applesauce as some suggested and I'm really happy that I didn't.
