Chickpea and Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2005
I have to say three stars because although I used the basic recipe, I also added my own touches...I like to use less water, maybe 1 1/2 to 2 cups, I also added 28oz can crushed tomatoes instead of the diced, more garlic of course, and this goes really well with couscous, and chicken breast pieces fried separately in garlic...that way you can also make the meat eaters happy, and bump this up to a meal.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2005
My husband's not big on stuffing, but he loved this one! I left out the liver, and used chicken stock, and doubled the recipe for a 22lb turkey, and cooked half in the turkey and half in a covered dish. I also added 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts. Excellent recipe - thank you.

Big Germans

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2005
This was so easy and everyone was impressed. I did cook it a little longer to make sure it wasn't soggy in the middle, and it came out really well...add some syrup, and it's an impressive breakfast offering with fruit on the side.

Army SOS Creamed Ground Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2005
I upped the flour to 1/2 cup, and added more spices and W/Sauce cos we like it spicy, but other than that, a really easy and yummy meal. Really good with buttery egg noodles, or buttered toast.
