About this Cook
I am a 25 year old woman. I love to cook but have a small family (just me and my husband) so I like to keep things simple. We are big fans of snacky hors deuvres and always offer to bring the munchies when we're visiting friends.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts: especially cookies and cakes. I also love preparing mexican and italian dishes, Dips, hors deouves, smooties &shakes, alcoholic drinks, breads and salads.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking Christmas cookies is my favourite. I have been doing it since I was old enough to walk! Nobody can hold a candle to my soft gingerbread with buttercream faces!
My cooking triumphs
Thanksgiving was my first time cooking a feast all alone! I did roast chicken, red potatoes, homemade rolls, buttered cattots, and homemade pumpkin pie, and everything turned out beautifully! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Christmas goes as well!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake
I've made this 4 times, so obviously I think it's delicious. But no matter what I did the first three times it cracked horribly. Still tasted great, so I didn't mind too much but it bothered me a little. The fourth time I made it I omitted the raspberry sauce in the cake and just drizzled it over the slices instead. No cracks! It came out absolutely perfect. So I won't put sauce in the cake again. Everyone I make this for loves it

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding
Very quick and easy and delicious! I had run out of vanilla so I omitted it. Didn't need it. Yuuuuuuum! My 2 year old was in heaven too.

Snow Ice Cream II
Actually really yummy! My 2 year old loved it :) I only used 1/3 cup of sugar and about a cup of milk, and it came out nice. Kind of like a vanilla sorbet,
