About this Cook
I am someone who is in a quest for new flavors, i try one or two recipes a week. When i cook time stands still and i think of nothing else
My favorite family cooking traditions
my first attempts in the kitchen were when my mom had to go to work. grandma was home but she never really guided me. i wish she had she had such a gift for everything she did. i came back from school and i prepared simple stuff i just needed guidance at the time there was no internet and no cable tv. now chefs are celebrities and cooking is trendy and i am joyful it is that way. with some willpower and guinea pig friends anyone can give it a shot. eating at home knowing what i grew in my garden will be in my drink dish or dessert is a great satisfaction. as i grew i started taking cooking classes and i dont regret it at all, what a joy to be able to transform simple ingredients into good food

Aunt Anne's Sesame Cookies
They are awesome I used anise seeds ( Like 2 tablespoons instead because where I live is a little hard to find the extract, dough consistency was perfect they continued crisp and perfect until they were all gone, Bravo for this recipe! I will make these again soon. If you have not tried it, start fixing it , you will not regret it!

Affogato with Cold-Brewed Coffee
I loved this affogato, I had made it before using another recipe with hot coffee, but icecream melted fast, then when I tried this i chilled the cups brefore filling them,I could not believe the many flavors coffee can develop just brewing it using cold water, I just came back from the icecream shop and will have it handy so I can treat myself again! Here in Buenos Aires is super cold right now but I don´t care! Tiramisú icecream was my choice and It was fab. It is terrific, cheap, & easy to to.This is a keeper!
