Homemade Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2013
I've made buns with another recipe from here but my family loved this one so much. I used them for French dips and they held up wonderfully. Worked great in high altitude as well. Thank you very much.

Buttery Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2011
Made these rolls today to go along with our chili and my family loved them. I've made many rolls before but these were the best I've ever made. I did have to add about half a cup more of flour because my dough was top wet. Worked perfectly in bread machine. I also brushed them with butter before baking like many suggested. Thank you so much for a wonderful recipe

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
I made this for my daughter's birthday today and although I've cooked many roasts before this has been the best one according to the birthday girl. My favorite rub for a roast is cracked black pepper, kosher salt, fresh thyme and a little canola oil. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe, i will never cook a roast any other way.

Pastry Cream

This recipe was fantastic. The only thing I will change next time is to leave the butter out. I think it made my cream too runny. Thanks!!!

Naan

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
After reading the reviews, I added 1/2 ts of baking soda. I also cooked them on a nonstick skillet with a lid. These were wonderful. The only change I will make next time is decrease the sugar to about a tablespoon. Now I have a great bread to go with my curries. Thanks

Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
This chicken was delicious. I never thicken my mexican or indian recipes with cornstarch so I thickened this one with ground almonds. The only thing I would leave out next time is the lemon juice. The yogurt and tomato puree are tangy enough. Thank you so much for the recipe I will make it often.

Fluffy Canadian Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2008
WOW!! These are amazing. They're so light, they melt in your mouth. I didn't get that eggy flavor some reviewers complained about and I like the fact that they are bland because the topping possibilities are endless. Thanks for a great recipe. I will never make pancakes any other way.

I have made these squares twice now and they were gone in minutes. I added an egg to the mixture and refrigerated them overnight. They were delicious and the filling stayed in place. Thank you for a wonderful and easy recipe.

Peppy's Pita Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
I made these today, I doubled the recipe and it made 20. They are bland but I like them like that, because the filling can be sweet or savory. I will be making burgers with these and fill them with tuna salad tomorrow. Thanks so much for a great recipe. Perfect to make when it's snowing outside.

Pina Colada Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
I've made this cake twice this week. The first time I followed it to the T and I thought the rum was too overpowering. The second time around I made it with a coconut supreme cake mix and substituted pineapple juice for the rum. Thanks for a great recipe.

I made these last night and I have to say that these are the best buscuits I've ever made. I'm not much of a baker so my only complaint is that the directions should have had a cooking temp. and a milk or buttermilk measurements. Thanks for a great recipe my family loved it.
