My First Place Pie!
About this Cook
early in my marriage, my wife I established I am horrible at laundry, and she's wasn't any good at cooking. I have always enjoyed cooking since I was young, and don't mind trying new recipes out. So I generally do the cooking.
My favorite things to cook
Pies, Italian, Traditional American food, Casseroles, grill, BBQ, Slow Cooker, Homade soups.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I always cook the turkey, at Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I also get a lot of requests for cinnamon rolls, pies, and for the past 10 years, New Years has to include several pounds of Buffalo Wings at the party!
My cooking triumphs
My First Place Apple Pie, at the Tulsa State Fair ranks at the top. But Thankfully I have had more triumphs then failures.
My cooking tragedies
I tried to swirl fruit into one of my custard pies, and I to this day don't know what I did. It kind of blew up like a big bubble gum bubble, and it was hard in the middle, and took days to get off of my pie dish! Needless to say I've not tried that again!

Apple Strudel Muffins
I would love to rate this five stars but they are a lot of work! They do taste five stars!

Pizza Crust for the Bread Machine II
This is a nearly perfect crust! Not too chewy, not to dry. I highly suggest this crust!
