Caramel Macchiato Ice Cream

FANTASTIC!! This recipe is so good. The flavors are so good together. My only regret, my ice cream maker only makes two quarts at a time! The kids loved it too! I used the Smucker's "Hot Carmel" flavor ice cream topping because it's the taste of real butter carmel. (Do not heat it for this recipe.)

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Made them as they stand and hubby said they were bland, I have to agree.. The dough is really sticky and plain. Probably needed some extract of some sort. Vanilla or lemon, maybe even some anise.. Anyway, I will be looking for another recipe.. Sorry.. Not to die for here.

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

This was a FANTASTIC dish! I used 2 teaspoons of prepared mustard instead of the 4 teaspoons of the Dijon mustard, I didn't have it. My family likes sweet instead of spicy.. Personally I was ready to have cereal for dinner, as a person who DOES NOT like fish at all, I really enjoyed this! I would make this again in a heartbeat! I am putting this in my "internet cookbook" to make again!

Waffles II

It's Sunday morning, I have 2 eggs and no box mix for pancakes or waffles. I grab the iPod, hit safari, and search for waffles on allrecipes. This one pops up first. I see the rave reviews, check for supplies and start mixing. I didn't mix the eggs the way it said, I just put them in the bowl with every thing else and I added vanilla. About 2 teaspoons. Fantastic! Hubby loved them! This is a keeper.

Monkey Bread V

I did not care for this. The recipe as is, even adding brown sugar as suggested was really bad. There was no flavor transferred to all the pieces. Even the top was flavorless. I am sticking with my own family's recipe for this breakfast favorite Thanks Aunt Nancy!(sorry everyone..no it's not listed on this site.)

Alienated Blueberry Muffins

This recipe was really great. I had none of the problems the others had. Every summer the girls and I pick our own blueberries and I used those berries for this recipe. My husband does NOT like blueberry anything, these he really liked. I will make these again & again. Can't beat Grandma's recipes!

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

THESE ARE MAJOR FANTASTIC!!! It's time to grocery shop at my house & I had run out of my pancake mix. I never have buttermilk..used the 2 Tablespoons (1 per cup) of lemon juice to make the Buttermilk. I scaled the recipe down to 5 (Before I saw the 4.8 & to use the only 2 eggs I had left) and I have TONS of batter left. (Almost 3 cups!) I have a family of 4. Everyone raved about the pancakes..I forgot to add the vanilla that was suggested, and added an extra 1/4 cup of flour (I use King Arthur White Whole Wheat flour) and I should have added more..still too thin for me. I could only cook one in my skillet at a time. This was the first time making scratch pancakes..WILL DO IT AGAIN!!!! Thanks oodles, Bobobear!!

Chocolate Sauce

I made this recipe as described...Let this cool to room temp before using on ice cream (duh), Also this recipe is FANTASTIC for Chocolate Milk! The better cocoa you use, the better the taste. So this was ok on the ice cream, but DEVINE for chocolate milk! Always buy the best cooking & baking ingredients you can afford. It really makes a diffrence!

Easy Lemon Chiffon Pie

This recipe is delicious! I made this today at (5:00pm), the only reason it lasted till now (8:15pm) is it had to set in the fridge! I made the lemon..I think the lime is next! Strawberry/banana would be good too! Enjoy!

Apple Crisp II

My husband didn't even finish his serving when he said this is absolutly fantastic and to put this on the "favorites" to make again! I highly suggest to double the recipe to put in a 9x13 dish. Otherwise use a 9x9 or 8x8. I read the reviews when mine was in the oven, otherwise I would have doubled mine. If you can't rate this 5 stars...then something was done wrong. It is absolutly devine!!!

Rice Pudding

This is one time "Mom" needs a new cookbook. As everyone else has said...this is rice soup. I followed the recipe and there is WAY too much milk in here. I added cinnamon to the mix and cooked it 70 minutes and still to have soup. Ran to Jewel afterwards (our local grocery store chain) and had real tasty rice pudding.

Brownie Biscotti

These are GR8! My husband and girls really enjoyed them. These were gone the 3 times I made them and I don't even get them cooled! I made some for our new neighbors and they loved them too! I left out the nuts and added more chocolate chips instead. WONDERFUL!!! True brownie flavor!
