I'm a born and raised Puerto Rican Jersey girl. Ever since I began to cook, I only stuck to foods within my culture. Anything outside of that I only knew "the basics". I'd like to expand that more while trying to create dishes that are from scratch, never settling for boxed products with additives and things I can't pronounce.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake, so anything with chocolate. I also love comfort foods and family style foods that bring people together.
My cooking tragedies
5 ingredient "quick" cookies. They were terrible and I should have known better to think it would have worked with the omission of brown sugar and baking soda.
