I am 24 year old mother to a very energetic 6 year old boy. I also have a wonderful boyfriend of 4 years (we should be married, don't ask). I work full time and my passions are animals,cooking and reading. Easy to prepare things, that have few ingredients and that taste great ! I come from a long line of great women cooks. It comes natural to us. Baking my 1st homemade cake and having it taste heavenly. I try to make my son's birthday cake this year with my above mentioned homemade cake recipe, instead of doing it the way I practiced in a sheet pan, I attempted to make a layer cake. Lets just say it crumbled and ended up a "Dirt Cake".
