Slow Cooker Barbecue Beans

Awesome! I did add about 1/4-1/3 cup of brown sugar though. I will definitely make it again!

Baked Fruit Dip

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

This soup was very good, I even used a butter blend and skim condensed milk for a lower fat version! I also used diced canned tomatoes, turned out just fine!

Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

OMG! This is so good. I made the recipe almost exactly as written. I used 2% milk instead of half and half. I can't believe how good this soup is - just like eating out!

These were yummy! I did make a few substitutions though. I used about 2 1/2 cups of apples. I added about a half a cup of applesauce and a tablespoon of sour cream. Like others I added some cinnamon and a bit of nutmeg. I also added rolled oats to the strudel.

Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce

The filets with the topping turned out terrific! It was my first try cooking steaks in the oven. The port wine sauce on the other hand was sort of disappointing. Didn't taste like much and was sort of like onion mush. But overall an enjoyable meal!

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Scaled the recipe to 10 servings. I agree with other reviewers - they were WAY too dry. I added almost a cup of milk to mine! That didn't make them creamy, just moistened them up. After that they were nummy!

Spicy Black Bean Potato Salad

I thought this was a fantastic variation of potato salad. I used 1 cup mayo and 1 cup light sour cream and about 3T of cajun seasoning. I didn't have green onions, but everything else was pretty much the same. It would be good with some corn too!

Amazing!!!! I sliced my potatoes really thin. I agree - you don't need the sugar for the onions, just carmalize them up nicely. I put a little garlic salt in between the layers along with the rosemary. I put some grated parmesan on top for a little crunch. Can't wait to make again - I think I'll try with half and half to cut the fat a little.
