Pear Pie III

I made this pie last night - this is really, really, good. I added cinnamon surgar with nutmeg on the pears before toping with the batter. Very easy to make. I will make this again and try with different fruits.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

I made this last night and it was great. I followed the recipe as written, only added sauted onion, red peppers, yellow peppers to give some color also served over whole wheat pasta. Just had it for lunch it tasted even better today!:) Thanks for the easy great tasting recipe. I will make this when I'm requested to bring a dish.

Cool Whipped Frosting

I made this yesterday with chocolate pudding for a french vanilla cake. This is really good. Nice change from the canned frosting. I am going to try this makeing my own whip cream as some others have suggested. Thanks for the easy frosting.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Made this for dinner last night with some garlic bread. It was Fantastic and easy to make. I followed the ingredients exactly, except I sauted my onion and added diced celery in the pan first. Will make a gain.

Brownie Caramel Cheesecake

This was good, only change I made was to add walnuts to the brownie mixture and I also used the Smuckers Carmel Sauce. Everyone enjoyed it, but no rave reviews.

Clone of a Cinnabon

For my first time making these, there were really good. I followed the recipe exactly. I did not use a bread machine (don't have one) followed the direction from other reviewers helpful hints (Thank you). The dough was really good and the frosting was really good. The only thing was that my cinnamon filling was not real gooey, but grainy. Don know what I did wrong, maybe more butter? I always feard making these, well no more fear, they were easy to make. Thanks for the great recipe.

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

My first sucessful sweet and sour chicken. This was excellent. Easy to make. The sweet and sour sauce was perfect in flavor. Hubby really liked it - not to sweet, just right. I added yellow and red food color to make it look orange. I also added green and red peppers and pineapple chuncks to the sweet and sour sauce. I did have to add more cornstarch and water to the sauce to get the consistancy that I like,we like our sauce a little bit thicker. I only used 4 chicken breasts and seasoned as other reviewers suggested. I also did not have self-rising flour and added baking powder and salt to regular flour. I put the cut up chicken in the batter and refrigerated for 1/2 hour before frying, don't know why I did this. I just remember doing this when I made the coconut chicken from this site so the batter would stick to the shrimp better. The batter was nice and thick and stuck to the chicken perfectly. I don't have a deep fryer, so I just put oil in a pan and fried each side until golden brown. This made plenty, fed four adults who each had 2 good size helpings and there is left overs for at least 2. I will definitely make this again. Thank you for the great recipe.

Spanish Rice Bake

Made this for Memorial BBQ, was really good. I did substitute the chile suace for Salsa that's the only change I made. Also doubled the recipe. Everyone really enjoyed this. This is very versatile you can add more ingredients. Maybe next time I will add black beans, etc. Will make again.

Anna's Amazing Easy Pleasy Meatballs over Buttered Noodles

This was really good. I only used two pounds of ground beef and made my own meat balls, but made the sauce as stated. I served over mashed potatoes. Plenty of sauce for us. I will make again.

Pepperoni Bread

This was OK only - I added pizza sauce in side, I'm glad I did or I think it would have been dry. If I Make again, I will try to roll tighter. After it finished baking (I let is sit for 10 minutes before cutting) there was alot of air between the layers.

Made this on Thursday and we ate on Friday gave a piece to the neighbor also. We really enjoyed this cheesecake, I think my respberry sauce was to thin, but I believe that was due to my error.

Bulgogi (Korean Barbecued Beef)

This was OK, I let marinade over night and it absorbed all of the marinate. It was a little dry to me. I thought it would have more sauce. I served over white rice. Easy to make though.
