Sesame Tilapia

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2006
This is a very simple recipe to make but I thought the taste was just ok. I let it marinate for almost an hour and although you could taste the sesame oil, it just didn't have a lot of other flavors. I would try again as it was easy and I have the ingredients on hand.

Easy Elegant Skillet Chicken Supreme

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2006
I loved this recipe. After I sauted the chicken and removed them, I first sauted a finely minced garlic and shallot for just a minute before I added the mushrooms. And you could definitely double the wine and broth for more sauce. However, I did not add the cheese at the end. Just didn't need it. My husband really liked this and said he would like to have it again.

Classy Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2005
This is a great change from the traditional Green Bean Casserole. I used a whole can of mushroom soup and 1/2 cup of sour cream instead. And I also added some chopped pecans to the topping. I fixed this for Thanksgiving and loved it.

Candied Yams

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
This recipe is delicious and so easy. Made it for Thanksgiving and it was great. I normally use fresh yams or sweet potatoes, but for a short cut this is perfect. Will serve again.

Chicken and Artichokes

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
I loved this recipe. Will definitely make it again. I used a half pound of mushrooms instead of a quarter, and fileted the chicken breasts instead of cutting them up. I also did not cook for the full 40 minutes. Baked covered for about 25-30 minutes and then uncovered for only about 5 minutes. So delicious.

Basil Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2005
This is a great recipe. I halved the whole recipe and sauted the shrimp and marinade together and completed it by adding some fettucine noodles to it. My husband loved it. Served it with some warm french bread and it was a meal. I will try it on the grill next.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2005
This recipe is so easy and delicious. The fish cooks really fast so you want to watch it carefully, but they turned out perfect. Will definitely make this recipe again.

Easy Minute Steaks

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2005
This is so easy and simple to make, and the meat turns out tender. I seasoned the meat first with garlic powder, onion powder, celery salt and black pepper, lightly floured and then browned. I had only one pound of meat, so I used one can of french onion soup, but would use two cans if cooking two pounds. Covered with foil for part of the cooking and then removed to finish. I also added a small, drained can of mushrooms (would use fresh if I had them) to the soup. Made plenty of gravy for my mashed potatoes. I will definitely make again.

Easy Creamy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2005
I loved this recipe. It was so easy. I used Cream of Mushroom instead of Celery as thats what I had on hand. Pork tenderloin already cooks up tender but the soup gave it a great flavor. I fixed mashed potatoes and spooned the gravy over it. Will fix this again.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2005
This is great for a quick soup. Just keep all the ingredients on hand and you can make a fast, but delicious soup. Let is simmer a little longer than called for and you swear it is homemade. I have already shared the recipe with friends and family.
