Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2014
I know it's asked not to rate a recipe if you make changes but my only changes are that I add garlic (whole cloves) and allow the garlic and onion to simmer for about an hour because I like my onion and garlic mushy. I also use veg juice rather than tomato juice. I add the other vegs (but fresh green beans not canned) afterwards. This freezes well. I ate this for two weeks for lunch and if I felt super hungry after work at about 5 or 6. I ate regular dinner. I STILL started losing. Three people actually noticed the few pounds dropped after two weeks. I brown ground beef and boil potatoes on the side to add on a serving basis for my 19 year old son. This will be a staple in my fridge and freezer all winter.

Easy Yet Romantic Filet Mignon

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2014
This comes out great and is very easy to make. I just hate that it creates a lot of smoke and the broiling pan is a real chore to clean.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2014
I have made this many times. It's always the favorite at holiday parties. This is one of the few recipes that I do not adjust or change.

Green Bean and Mushroom Medley

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2012
Great recipe. I doubled the green beans and trippled the carrots. Also, I sliced the cloves of one garlic bulb (we LOVE garlic) and sauteed with the onion and mushrooms. This is one of my son's favorite sides.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
I followed the direction almost exactly. I used one bag of Orowheat dry corn bread cubes and almost all of the broth the recipe calls for. This came out much better than expected. I will definitely make this again.

King Ranch Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
I followed another reviewer's advice and bought a pack of corn tortiilas. I fried some of them in a little oil. I sauteed the onion along with about six minced galrlic cloves. I then added sour cream, the soups, cooked chicken, and Rotel. The following went into the baking dish in this order: layer of tortillas, half the soup mixture, cheese, layer of tortillas, rest of soup mixture, cheese. Delicious!
