Glazed Meatloaf I
First time making meatloaf. I omitted the lemon juice and bouillon granules and added 1/2 cup of green peppers. I'd omit the onions and green peppers when I try this again, though ~ too crunchy. Sauce on top was fantastic! Served with peas and carrots and mashed potatoes.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf
First time making meatloaf. I used (broken up) bread pieces instead of crackers, omitted the milk, salt, and ginger, only used 1/2 cup of chopped onions and added 1/2 cup of green peppers. I'd omit the onions and green peppers when I try this again, though ~ too crunchy. Sauce on top was fantastic! Put 1/3 of ketchup and brown sugar mixture in meatloaf and added the rest on top after cooking and heated for 10 minutes more. Did not put any at bottom of pan. Served with peas and carrots and mashed potatoes.

Fluffy French Toast
Recipe made about 3/4 of the servings listed. Mixed dry ingredients first and then added wet ingredients ~ made a difference on how well they blended. Letting slices soak while others cooked was a bad idea for "average" bread ~ it starting falling apart. Besides that, my kids loved that this non-cooking Mom cooked french toast for the 1st time and even sprinkled it with powdered sugar! :-)
