Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies I

My family's new favorite. I made these according to the recipe and did not change a thing, except I doubled it and found 13 mins. was sufficient enough for baking time. They taste great and were the perfect amount of crispy/chewy.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

Two stars because the meatballs were good but we did not care for the sauce. I wish I would not have strayed from my own sauce or in the least read the reviews first and cut back on the sugar, but then again the ratings are for the actual recipes and not everyone's own version of them. All four of my kid's would not eat it and my husband and I managed to get half of it down. Sugar aside, we thought it was just too rich with tomato sauce and missed the veggies and meat in my regular sauce.

Mom's Chicken Cacciatore

My whole family enjoyed this healthy meal served with whole wheat pasta, even my fussy toddler. Chicken turned out very tender after simmering for an hour and a half. I used legs for the kid's and a couple of breasts for my husband and I. Doubled the tomatoes, used Sherry instead of wine because I didn't have any, lot's of garlic, oregano, basil and added a little bit of chicken stock near the end because it was a little thick. Tasted very yummy!

Butter Rich Spritz Butter Cookies

Yummy! I added a couple tablespoons of extra butter as other reviewers suggested and these worked out perfectly. Easy to press and very tasty. Now let's hope my kid's think so too when they get home from school. :)

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Perfection! My whole family loves these cookies and I will toss out my other CCC recipes. Recipe says not to double the batch but with four kids who has time to just make 12? No problems doubling it and I didn't have to grease my pans either.

Excellent soup! I did add less tomato sauce then it called for because I do not like a soup that is too tomatoey. This is a great soup if you have toddlers. I keep portions in the freezer to take out and warm up for lunch.

Nana's Sausage Dinner

Wheat Germ Whole-Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

My kid's did not like them but my husband did so that is why I gave it three stars. I even added the vanilla, cinnamon and sugar as suggested by other reviewers.

Roasted Chicken with Risotto and Caramelized Onions

This is tasty but I agree with the previous review. It looks like slop and seemed more like a side dish or a lunch meal to me. I would do chicken breasts separately next time if I were to have it for dinner.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

This salad is a five stars to my husband and others I have made it for but it is way too sweet for me. It just doesn't compliment a nice piece of steak because of the sweetness but everyone else seems to think it's great so I keep making it for them.

Chicken In Sour Cream

Way too much sauce and I'm not sure if it is because I used non fat sour cream or if it was the lemon juice but this was so sour. My family hated this.
