I agree - this is a great basic recipe, but I only gave it four stars because it needs some "tinkering." It does have a lot of possibilities, though. You can add whatever seasonings you're in the mood for.
My version of this uses a little bit of poultry seasoning, some garlic powder, one chopped onion, and whatever frozen vegetables I have on hand.
About 45 minutes before serving, I cut up the biscuit dough into thirds and just drop them onto the top of the chicken mixture. No stirring needed. They came out just perfect.
