Ultimate Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
Great recipe, tastes very creamy and nice but just a suggestion - saute your onions and celery lightly in a little butter before putting them in with the potatoes. It will give the soup an even better flavour.

Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
We make these all the time! I got the original recipe years ago from the back of the PB jar and am glad to see it here! It's so easy for kids to make as a first baking project as well. Every once in a while we switch it up by using crunchy peanut butter which make them super good! You can also add choco chips or toffee bits to them and even chopped almonds which make them so good. Perfect cookies every time for us peanut butter lovers! For those who don't like a peanut buttery cookie, then this is not the recipe for you.

Calamari

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
First off, people have to realize that this is NOT a batter recipe. Do not add water and make it into a batter! This is just a light dusting over the squid to give it a little crunch and flavor. I do suggest adding a little garlic powder and reducing the salt as it makes it taste so much better. I worked in a greek restaurant for a couple of summers as a teen and this is exactly how they made their fresh calamari. Serve it with finely chopped red onion and lemon wedges and you should be good to go! kudos on this great recipe!

These are excellent! The only complaint from my super picky eater was that they were too fluffy and filled her up too fast - hahaha This is a new family favourite and I thank you for posting it :)

Chewy Crispy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2010
The only change is that I add rice krispies instead of corn flakes because we never have corn flakes. I make this cookie all the time and it's my hubby's favourite.

Zucchini-Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2010
Very tasty! The first batch was made exactly as stated and were excellent. The second I was taking to a friends who has a daughter whom is allergic to citrus so I omitted the lemon and still they were just as good. A Very nice tasting and moist muffin. I recommend to all looking for a good recipe that can be adapted as well as left alone.

Easy Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
Very good basic oatmeal muffin. I use these with my own additions and they turn out well every time. I add cocoa or berries and sometimes coconut and nuts, depending on the preferred taste that day and all turn out well. I did change the bak time to 15 minutes as they don't take any longer. I honestly don't know how you can go wrong with this recipe.

Ground Beef Curly Noodle

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
I had to laugh when I read the Poor White Trash review lol. I guess I am poor white trash then because my kids love the ramen noodles and they love hamburger! I've made this a few times for them and they seem to gobble it up! I sometimes add other veggies to it, like thinly sliced carrots, broccoli and even zucchini. At our house we call it "Yucky Noodles" and it looks yucky, bu they love it! Viva Poor White Trash recipes!

Quick Asian Beef Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2011
I make this when the rest of the family is having burgers since I don't like burgers lol! I have also made a variation by adding a handful of frozen veggies in or cooked fresh ones. Also I add garbanzo beans (chick peas) or mushrooms, water chestnuts and so on. It's endless what you can add to this to make it your own. Good dish!
