Fantastic!!! I ignored the reviewers suggestions and made it exactly as the recipe was written. I was perfection! I can't wait to make it again!

Honey Walnut Shrimp

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
WOW!!! Scrumptious! This will be a new favorite in our home. I've never made anything like this, but it was really easy and quick. I did use cornstarch instead of the mochiko as others had suggested and mixed it to the consistency of school glue. You really have to try this!

Blue Ribbon Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2007
This is more like a shortbread cookie, but it's wonderful! The lemon extract makes them very tasty. I make really big cookies with this recipe and frost them with canned vanilla cake frosting that I've colored and heated in the microwave. Then I add sprinkles. They sold really well at my daughter's Girl Scout bake sale. The kids go nuts for them, but the adults raved too! Terrific recipe!

Orange Pumpkin Loaf

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2005
Wonderful! The orange really added a unique twist. I also used dates instead of raisins, as suggested and it was fabulous. I added an extra 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and used milk instead of water. It made a little more than one loaf, so I made a mini loaf with the extra batter. The texture was perfect. Not a bit underdone on the inside, but I may have baked it longer than an hour. I just baked it until a toothpick came out clean. Fantastic recipe!!!

Best Chicken Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2005
I made this for a family function and people loved it! They kept asking what was in it -- they could taste the avacado, but couldn't identify it. It was really different and better than regular chicken salad. (I added black olives too.)

Easy A La King Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2005
Wonderful! I love Terry's Easy Chicken Pie from this site but when I went on a diet, it became a "No-no". So, I started making this instead. I use can of mushrooms and some frozen corn, beans, and carrots in place of the veggies listed here. I also use reduced fat bisquits. It's great comfort food and my picky family loves it! Thanks for a great recipe, Sara!

Asparagus Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2005
I tried this recipe twice. The first time I used canned asparagus. They were mushy and it was awful. The second time I followed the recipe exactly and used fresh asparagus. That was a definite improvement, but it still wasn't very good. It was too bland. It sounded so good. I wonder if they brand of hollandaise mix would make a difference.

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2005
Fantastic! Makes your chicken taste like steak! I used lime juice instead of lemon juice, added garlic powder and eliminated the parsley. I'm sure it would have been just as great without changing a thing!

Fragrant Lemon Chicken

My hubby and picky 5-year-old daughter both loved it! My daughter said it was the best chicken she ever had! It was very easy and the chicken was tender and delicious. I will definitely be making this again.

Spinach Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2005
I changed this recipe a little, but the result was wonderful! I doubled the sauce and put it over noodles, and I used fresh spinach as others suggested. Then I added garlic, salad supreme seasoning, salt, pepper and 1 T of white wine to the sauce. My husband doesn't even like spinach, but he thought this was delicious! My daughter loved the chicken, but was turned off by the spinach. I'll be making this again anyway for sure! Thanks for the great recipe Kathy!

Cheddar and Bacon Log

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2004
This was fantastic! It was a huge hit at our Christmas party. I doubled the hot pepper sauce and worcestershire sauce as someone suggested. Plus, I probably added a little more bacon and onion then the recipe called for. This recipe is certainly a keeper!

Hot Jezebel

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2004
I didn't like this one at all. It was like sweet and sour sauce poured over cream cheese, and I don't think it went well with crackers It didn't look pretty either. I gave it 2 stars because my mother-in-law really liked it, but nobody else did. But I heard this is a southern recipe and we're from MN, so maybe that explains it.

Crabmeat Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2004
These had potential, but mine turned out a little bland. Maybe it was the kind of cocktail sauce that I used, but they needed a little more kick and were too sweet for my taste. I took them too a party and people ate a few of them, but no one raved.

Orange-Glazed Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2004
I don't like to mess with steak too much because it's perfect as is, but this was nice for a change. It's wasn't too sweet and the orange and ginger flavors weren't over-powering. It was really wonderful! (I did make it with sirloin steak, though.)

Sweet Potato Oranges

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2004
This was absolutely fabulous! My hubby said it's the best new recipe that I've tried and I try a lot of wonderful new recipes. I didn't put it into the orange shells, although I'm sure it's a beautiful presentation. I also cut out a little of the butter and sugar. This is definately a keeper! Thank you so much, Louise!
