Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2013
My family enjoyed this dish very much! After reading many of the reviews, I used an 11x15 baking dish and it was full. I did place a layer of meat sauce mixture to the bottom of the dish first, then ziti, then more sauce mixture then the sour cream. I added an egg and about 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese with the sour cream before spreading. Then I placed the layer of provolone cheese, remaining ziti over that, rest of the sauce and topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. I also added fresh cut mushrooms and Italian seasoning to the sauce. I baked this covered for 30 minutes and then an extra 15 minutes uncovered in a 350 degree preheated oven. It was a big hit the little leftovers we had tasted just as good if not better the next day! The provolone and sour cream made this extra not skip this!!
