Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
Wow! Love these as is! Next time will reduce the sugar (maybe apple juice instead of mtn dew?) and just one stick of butter instead of 2? Only because we wanted to eat way more than is healthy! :)

Good right out of the oven, but dries out quickly.

Mocha Cooler

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
This is good - I use more instant coffee for more coffee flavor, and use water instead of milk. If you do that, and use splenda, fat free creamer, it comes out to about 58 cals/serving - great for hot summer days like today!!!

per my aunts recipe, I used 5c rhubarb, 1 c sugar, and 1 pint cream... perfect - still very sweet. Excellent w/ cool whip when cold.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

So good!! Made it as stated, everyone liked it. Then we made it without the cheddar cheese, and just sprinkled blue cheese on top, and it was all gone w/in an hour... My new favorite appetizer recipe - making it for our party tonight!

Cinnamon Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2008
We use the batter for pancakes, and they are the best ever. I do not like cinnamon much, so I leave it out, and they are still fantastic!!! I have made this recipe so many times over the last few months it is ridiculous. I was not a big fan of pancakes, until I made these for my hubby, and now I crave them just like he does!

Biscotti

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2008
This is very good, and so very easy. I do not like anise, but made this as the recipe stated, and the flavor was not overwhelming. So if you are worried that 1 Tablespoon of extract is too much, it really is not. I made a second batch w/ almond extract and chopped almonds, and it was also very good. I spread one side with dark chocolate, too. Yummy!

Spicy Bean Salsa

Made w/ cilantro, lime, & fresh garlic like others. Made a double batch for a cookout, and used leftovers to make white chicken chili - can of chicken broth, 2 breasts, and some velveeta - awesome!!

Hamburger Cheese Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
We love this. My grandma makes it, and we always devour it. We just mix the meat and cheese mixture together, then add it to the noodles and bake it. Much easier!!!

This was great. I used smoked sausage instead of bacon as suggested by another user. I was not very fond of pierogies before this recipe! Thanks!

Quick and Easy Pimento Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2007
Great stuff. We use mayo instead of miracle whip and eat it with toasted french bread slices. Also, we add jalepenos to spice it up sometimes. And, my favorite - grill it like a grilled cheese sandwich. So good with tomato soup.
