Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2010
Very good pancakes. I substituted buttermilk for the milk and yogurt (because I didn't have yogurt, but had leftover buttermilk). The only thing I would change is to add more spice next time--they were slightly bland to my taste. Overall, a winner, though. I also used fresh blueberries. I didn't even need syrup, because of the blueberries.

Orange Crunch Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
This cake was absolutely delicious and I got so many compliments on it. The only problem was that I made it as a two-layer cake and the top layer cracked (as others have commented). So I would recommend putting the crumb layers together (first layer crumb side up, second layer crumb side down) and freezing it for just a little bit after assembly so it stays together. I also made some extra frosting (added butter, confectioner's sugar, and some orange juice), because I didn't think the frosting made enough. With those changes, it was great!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2004
This was as wonderful as it sounds! I doubled the recipe and had lots of topping (you could probably half the amount and be fine).

A Simply Perfect Roast Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2011
Excellent. I have used this recipe for two Thanksgivings and each time the turkey was perfect--moist and golden. I received compliments each time. (And I had never roasted turkey before using this recipe.)

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
Wonderful! I love Italian food and I found this authentic and absolutely delicious. My husband said it's the best lasagna he's ever had. I made it for Christmas Eve dinner to rave reviews and am making it again for New Year's Eve. The only thing I did different was made homemade lasagna noddles.

Easy Cheese Ball II

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
This was very easy to make and looked great. Everyone made comments about how good it was and was wondering where I got it from. They were impressed that I made it myself and it was so good.

Blueberry Pound Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2010
I made this to take to work and everyone loved it. It was quite delicious. I especially liked the sugar coating (at the bottom of the pan). I used fresh blueberries and did not make any changes.

French Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2004
This was a great recipe. I split the frosting up and added different food coloring to pipe onto the cake to decorate and everything turned out well. It was the first time I actually successfully decorated a cake! This was an easy recipe to use.
