Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2014
Husband raved about this. I've made it twice in two weeks actually. I am dairy free so I only added the sour cream to half the liquid. I reserved the other half for myself and it was still delicious without the sour cream. I did add some Cajun seasoning just to spice the dish up.

Spinach Enchiladas Verde

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2013
Loved this recipe. To save time, I followed the advice of reviewers who layered the ingredients to make a casserole. I also added shredded chicken and black beans to my spinach and sour cream mixture. I cooked the shredded chicken by throwing a few boneless skinless chicken breasts in the crock pot with a little salsa and taco seasoning. It was ready to shred by the time I got home from work. We will be making this again!

Honey Mustard Dressing II

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Perfect! I have been looking for this recipe! It has the same flavor of the nice thick restaurant honey mustard. Even better, it's easy to make.

Grits Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
I'm not sure I baked it long enough as it was not as firm as I would have liked. Husband loved it though

Country Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Too many extra seasonings for me. My husband and I prefer the traditional southern sausage gravy

Dry Ranch Style Seasoning for Dip or Dressing

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2010
I had already started making a different recipe that called for a packet of ranch...then I realized I was out of packets of ranch dressing mix! I did a quick search and found this recipe. It was much easier than I thought and I had all the ingredients on had. We couldn't even tell the difference between this recipe and the store bought ranch dressing mix! Will definitely be using in the future. It's less expensive than purchasing the packets plus added bonus: no preservatives!

Spicy Mexican Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2010
I doubled this recipe for a work potluck lunch and received RAVE reviews. I used Chili Cheese Fritos so the salad actually wasn't spicy at all. It was still very good. I had several requests for the recipe!

When I first ready this recipe I didn't understand how this simple combination of ingredients could have so many stars....but I had all the ingredients on hand and decided to give it a shot. We were all pleasantly surprised at how GOOD they were. I am definitely making these again!

Southern as You Can Get Collard Greens

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
Very good! My husband said he doesn't like collards but we didn't have any leftovers! The only change I made was to the ham. I coudn't find ham hocks so I bought I slice of bone-in ham. I chopped half and threw the half with the bone in whole.

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
This is my FAVORITE recipe. My mother-in-law makes this every Christmas and the recipe was orginally found it in a church cookbook. I usually omit the bread cubes as my husband has Celiac Disease. I get requests for this recipe ALL the time, made exactly as is and when I omit the bread cubes. I've even made it with turkey breakfast sausage, eggbeaters, and 2% cheese and it still gets rave reviews.

Beef Stew II

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
First time I've ever made beef stew and this is was exactly the flavor I was looking for! I was looking to get as many vegetables as possible so I also added peas, corn, spinach, green beans and potatos. And I replaced half of the water with beef stock.

Great as is! I've made it twice. The first time I threw in 1/2 cup of sour cream with the half and half. My husband had three helpings and we had no leftovers!

Italian Tomato Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
I brought this to my in-laws for dinner and everyone loved it. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because I made some changes/additions. I used bow tie pasta instead of angel hair and feta instead of parmesan. I also added a dash of Newmans Own Parmesan and Roasted Garlic dressing. It was great!

LuvAnn's Guacamole

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
I loved this recipe though I did alter it. I added garlic salt, a squirt of lemon and just a little picante sauce. I also used fresh pico de gallo that I bought prepackaged instead of adding the onion, cilantro, lime juice and jalapanos separately.

Cheesy Spinach and Bacon Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
Big hit at the superbowl party and at the last Annual Caldwell Birthday Party. Elizabeth recommends using bacon crumbles instead of cooking the bacon yourself. Great idea that really makes the recipe easy to throw together with little to no effort.
