Self-Filled Cupcakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
I consider myself a good baker. I followed the directions to the letter and also filled the muffin papers 1/4 full etc etc. I had plenty of batter and filling for all but ONE muffin, and I made 24. These were NOTHING special. They turned out moist and tasted GREAT, but all the extra work of layer all 24, I expected the results to be phenomonal. They were good, but, I won't be making them again.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
These muffins are so delicious!!!!! I will NEVER make banana bread again!!!!!!!!! I sub. the 1/3 vegetable oil for the melted butter and didn't have time to change anything else---they were emergency company muffins!!!!! They turned out PERFECTO and I got TONS of "YUM"s!!!!!!!! I will DOUBLE the crumb topping next time, I love it!

Good, quick and delicious. I use water, turkey and "Better than Bouilon" about a TBS and a half in my water instead of chicken broth...its what i had on hand and it turned out perfecto!!!!

Marshmallow Treats

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
I formerly could NOT MAKE Rice Kripsy Treats. They would turn out dry and hard or too marshmallowy. THIS RECIPE IS PERFECTION. You really have to use LOW-3 setting and do things slowly (which annoys me, but it works!) They could NOT be better.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
Really easy and REALLY good. USe a stock pot vs a sauce pan to avoid all the spattering, especially after adding hte meatballs!!! They turned out PERFECT and were totally done after the 30 minutes. I added 1 extra teaspoon of sugar to the sauce at the end cuz I thought it needed it. I ommitted the parsley b/c I'm allergic too it---so nice to finally have a sauce that DOES NOT have parsley!!! I also used the half-salt salt to cut down on the sodium and it was perfect.

I give this 3 stars b/c although it was good (better the second day) it was lacking------it wasn't moist enough and lacked spices...probably needed doubled.

Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2008
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM........These are great in the words of my husband. They really taste like GReAT gourmet popcorn at first bite. They were super easy. I tripled the spices...they were a TINY bit too salty for my taste but my husband LOVED THEM. Very expensive tasting. He said he'd almost carve another pumpkin to have some more!

Quick Yeast Rolls

Reviewed: May 27, 2008
These looked like muffins, had the texture of muffins, but NO FLAVOR. Total dissapointment and I'm easily pleased. If you think these are going to turn out like Texas Roadhouse or Logans, think again. LITERALLY they are like unflavored MUFFINS.

Iced Mocha Fusion Shake

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2006
Decent. Only thing I didn't like is that the ice doesn't combine well with the rest and you end up sucking all the "juice" out and have to stir it constantly-----good flavor though.
