Slow Cooker Chicken Continental

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2006
This was a great dish even though I changed a few things. I doubled the sauce, added onion soup powder, package of sliced mushrooms, cheddar cheese, and I used 8oz of rinsed dried beef. It was absolutely delish!! I served it with a side of wild and long grain rice, and green beans. This one's a keeper!!!

Barbecue Beef Cups

These are quick, easy, and good. I've also made a taco variation by adding taco seasonings to the meat, and topping with diced tomatoes, cheddar, lettuce, and a dab of sour cream.

Cabbage Rolls II

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2006
I didn't particularly like this recipe. I thought it was much too bland, and my husband who will usually eat just about anything and enjoy it wouldn't even it eat.

Glazed Lemon Supreme Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2006
This cake is wonderful!! I had a piece of lemon pound cake at Starbuck's a couple of weeks ago, and wanted to duplicate it not only because of the price, but so I could always make it if I wanted to. This is exactly what I was looking for, and my husband has eaten half the cake already. After I cooled it, I refrigerated it, and plan to keep it in there until it's gone.

Slow Cooker Tender and Yummy Round Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2006
This is a really yummy meal. The only thing I did different was added a can of milk to the cream of mushroom, and cooked for 7 hours on low.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2005
This was very yummy! I am a lasagna lover, but will be making this more often in the future. My husband loved that it tasted like lasagna, but in his words, it was more "free". I did alter the recipe however. I used 2 cups of sour cream, 16 oz. of mozz. cheese, and next time I will make more sauce. I used my own marinara sauce. Some like more pasta than sauce, but I like equal amounts, and found that the it was a bit drier than I would like it. I omitted the meat as well. It was really good though! Thanks for sharing!

This was OK, but I won't be making it again. Just didn't suit our palates.

Best Beef Dip Ever

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2005
awesome!!! I cooked the roast for 8-9 hours, and it was perfect! I also used kaiser rolls & provolone. I then made the sandwiches, threw them in the oven at 400 for 7 minutes, and they were just wonderful! The au jus was excellent!! This is a keeper!

It was good, but wasn't too special. Tasted just like fish with guacamole.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: May 26, 2005
These were just delish! We grilled them with cedar chips, and they turned out sooo good! I marinated them for about 5-6 hours, and used red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, onion, and whole mushrooms. I added more minced garlic than what was called for because I'm a garlic lover, and I also doubled the marinade. The mushrooms and red bells were my fave. Everyone loved these!

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2004
I can't give this 5 stars because I changed the recipe, but the sauce was very good. I could tell by the amounts that it would be too dry, so I added more tomatoes to the sauce (crushed...40 approx. 40oz), and I added another pint of ricotta to the mixture. I also used much more mozzarella. The lasagna came out beautifully and the taste is definately a keeper. I think the brown sugar to the sauce is a nice addition.
