Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
The flavor of this is amazing. I had to stop myself from eating it right after I mixed everything together. It did seem to be a little soggy, so I took the lid off and let it cook. It will definitely be my standard stuffing recipe from now on.

Cinnamon Rock Candy

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
My grandma makes something like this, so I was looking for a recipe and found this one. This recipe is so easy! Just follow the directions as written, and don't try to rush things. You definitely need a candy thermometer. They're cheap, so pick one up when you're getting the ingredients. I spent $4 on mine.

Berry Lemon Mousse Parfait

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2008
I made this for dessert last night. I'm not a big fan of "fake lemon" flavor, so it was too much lemon for me (still pretty good though and my husband loved it). I'm going to try it again without the lemon extract to see if that helps. I do have to say after putting the extra whipped topping in the fridge, it's much more mellow on the second day. If you're making it for a party, it could definitely be made the day before, and then put together with the berries shortly before serving.

Taco Dip I

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
Very yummy, and easy to make. For an easy shortcut, use a jar of salsa instead of the tomatoes and green peppers.

California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2008
This sandwich was AMAZING. I didn't change anything. It was so hard not to make another one even though I was stuffed.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: May 2, 2008
These are so good! I took the advice of another person and added a good 16 shakes for worcestershire sauce and a packet's worth of soy sauce. Also, if you mix everything together and let it sit in the fridge overnight, it's even better! They're also great for making the patties and freezing for later.

Onion Pasta

Reviewed: May 2, 2008
This was yummy! I made a couple modifications. My pan barely fit 2 onions, so that's all I used (another would've been much better though). I also added a clove of garlic, because you can't have pasta with out garlic! The store was out of dry basil, so I used the Tastefully Simple Tomato and garlic pesto I had on hand. I didn't have a problem with it being too greasy, but I only used enough oil to coat the onions, so it was probably closer to 1/4 cup. I also left out the cup of water, and instead tossed the onions in with the pasta, and then added a cup of white wine and cooked for a few more minutes. This will definitely become a regular dish for us because it was so easy! If you want to make it an entire meal, it would be great with some shrimp tossed in.

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2008
Very yummy! Next time I think I'll make it with cheddar cheese though, and definitely put the cheese on TOP of the pie crust before the veggies. I didn't like burnt cheese layer on top. The veggie flavor was amazing though. I don't know why others said it was bland because it was full of flavor.

Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
This was really good and really easy to make. Even my picky eater raved about it..."It's not just good, it's super good" according to him. I used chicken breast instead of the thighs and added some onions and carrots, but otherwise I followed the recipe.

Southern Moon Pies

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
Very yummy! Everyone in my family loved these. I agree with the person who said they taste like SuzieQ's, but they weren't as disgustingly sweet as a SuzieQ.

Caramel-Glazed Flan

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2007
This was the first time I attempted to make flan, and it was SO easy and so yummy. Even my two boys loved it. I used full fat condensed milk since that was all I had, and I didn't wrap it in the towel (because knowing me I'd burn my house down), and it still came out perfect and yummy.
