Sweet Restaurant Slaw
We've made this twice. The first time we followed the recipe exactly and it is very tasty, like what you get at restaurants. The second time, we substituted 2 Tablespoons of apple juice and 1 Tablespoon of oil instead of 3 Tablespoons of oil (I thought that would be too much oil). We also substituted apple cider vinegar for white vinegar and that resulted in a stronger vinegar taste. Next time, I will split the vinegar amount between the white / apple cider vinegar. The apple flavor is surprisingly tasty in this slaw. Overall, the family loves this recipe and we'll make it often.

Leek, Bacon, and Pasta
We made this recipe tonight and loved it. We didn't have any mushrooms at home, but it was wonderful without them. This recipe is flexible so that you can add more leeks (as we did) and other ingredients to suit your tastes, just remember to balance any added dry with moist ingredients. It was definitely a hit at our house, and we'll make it again.

Sauteed Swiss Chard with Parmesan Cheese
We grew chard for the first time this winter and had no clue how to prepare it. This recipe is easy, delicious, and fast. We like it so much, we will probably use it at least once a week until we finish all the chard in the garden!
