one of the nicest double chocolate cookies ever! i decreased the sugar to 1 1/2 mix of white n brown sugar and increased the flour by 3/4 cup to 1 cup.if not they will turn out awfully flat. the cookies turned out nice.they were moist chewy n yummy!they had slighty crispy edges.they weren't thin at all. yummy!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: May 27, 2005
the yummiest chewy cookie ever!slightly crispy edges chewy middles.everyone loves me for baking these cookies! I increased the flour by 1 cup, baking soda from 3/4 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon and cocoa powder from 2/3 cup to 3/4 cup.I chilled the dough for 2 hours.I rolled them into 4cm balls and baked them for 15 mins. it turned out well.they r not falt n they taste so chocolatey n nice!but they can only keep for 2 days or they'll get dry even though u don't open the cookie jar. I'll definitely bake these again.=)

White Chocolate-Macadamia Nut Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: May 1, 2005
these cookies are fanastic.the nicest macadamia nut cookie that I have ever eaten.I made the crunchy type n they were wonderful. but there is one point to take note.use only chopped-up white choc n not white choc chips. I reduced sugar to 1/4 white sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar. And remember to chop macadamia nut into quarters if not you will have a hard time shaping your cookies.the dough is kinda dry so you have to shape them using ypur hands n pressing them slightly or your cookie will be like a ball. I like this recipe 'cos it is not too sweet n it uses really little butter[healthier choice]

Granny's Brownies

Reviewed: May 1, 2005
I quite like these brownies. Stuff I changed. 1.sugar reduced to 1cup. 2.two tablespoons of cocoa added to the flour. they turned out fine.but they are rather greasy so I'll reduce the amount of butter the next time.it's kinda cakey but not too light.but it doesn't have the dense kind of texture I want to get in my brownie.

Chocolate Revel Bars

Reviewed: May 1, 2005
I like this cookie.the oatmeal tastes wonderful.I didn't make the chocolate fudge 'cos I didn't want to make a big mess out of the kitchen.Instead I sprinkled choc chips all over half the oatmeal dough n covered the chips with the rest of the dough.I like the crunchy top.it's so yummy. I reduce sugar by 1/2 cup 'cos quick cooking oats are kinda sweet.

Giant Crisp Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2005
This is the best crispy chocolate chip cookie that I have ever made. I've baked so many batches of these cookies that I've lost count already. I made a few amendments to the original recipe. I used 1/4 to 1/2 cup more flour so that the cookie doesn't turn out flat. However, creaming the butter well would only require an addition of 1/4 to 1/3 cup flour. To make it less sweet, I used 3/4 cup mix of white and brown sugar. Salt is reduced to 1/2 teaspoon or less. One point to take note is to never use large eggs or the cookie would spread too much and the cookie turns out flat which looks awful.Use regular sized eggs. I also made my cookies smaller. I shaped/rolled the dough in 1 1/2 inch balls. it turned out great and perfectly round. I baked them for the full 20-23 min. They turned out perfectly brown and crispy. This is definitely a keeper. Another variation of the cookie is use molasses sugar and brown sugar(half half) and add a teaspoon or 2 of allspice/cinnamon. It comes out smelling like Famous Amos cookies. DELICIOUS!
