Gram's Chicken Pot Pie

Very tastey! I used 5 chicken breasts instead of a whole chicken; I made my own crust and added herbs to it. I used frozen mixed vegetables and two white potatoes. I added salt, pepper, celery, onion, mushrooms, and a bay leaf. I also used chicken seasoning instead of chicken bouillon granules. I'll make it again for sure, especially in colder months.

This recipes was GREAT! My husband enjoyed it and he is not a big pasta fan. The only change/addition was adding drained spinach.

Bar-B-Que Sauce

Delicious! I made it w/ Equal for my father, who is a diabetic. The taste was wonderful. I can only imagine how good it would be when made with real sugar!

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

This was delicious! It created a very pleasing aroma throughout the house as I had it slow cooking over night. Althought the meat was amazing w/o anything else, I added BBQ sauce and we ate pulled pork sandwiches. Next time, I will try it w/o BBQ sauce and simply make a salad. Also, I will not add any salt b/c the beef broth has enough salt in it already. I will be making this for years to come! Oh, by the way, I used an 8lb pork tenderloin.

Incredible Chicken

Easy Cream Cheese Danish

This was perfect! I doubled everything except the filing. Be ware that this icing is very thick; I had to pipe the icing using a bag b/c I could not spread it with spatula. Heating the icing after it is combined may make the icing more pliable. I took it to work and the whole tray was gone within 30 minutes! Tastes best warm.

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Delicious...even with Equal! This can be made with various fruit - apple, blueberry, etc. I used 1 29oz can of peaches. This was more than enough for a two-member household. I have made it twice and will definitely make it again.

Dog Food Dip

My husband and I did not like this recipe. This is a very rich dip. We prefer the classic - 1 can of rotel tomatoes, 1 lb of drained/browned/ ground sausage, and one box of Velveeta put in crock pot and eaten w/ tortilla chips.

Barbie's Tuna Salad

This tuna was really delicious. It is very different from what I am used to. This is tuna with a kick. I suggest using this recipe for entertaining or whenever you want to make a good impression. Although the flavors were a bit too strong for my husband, I will still make it again. I suggest using real onions instead of minced onion flakes, which could be mistaken for egg shells while eating. Next time, I will start with a bed of romaine lettuce, then add tri colored pasta noodles, add this tuna, shredded parmesan, and probably Olive Garden's salad dressing. I can not wait! I think this will be a fantastic pasta/tuna salad. FYI-I used more tuna and less mayo than the recipe calls for...personal preference.

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

My family did not like the wetness of this dish. After baking for the recommended amt of time, it was still wet. I will not make this again. I think I will stick to breakfast casseroles with sausage, eggs, grits, and cheese. I guess it depends on each person's tastes buds, b/c most of the reviews said this was great.

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw I

Wow! This tastes just like KFC's coleslaw. The trick is to chop the cabbage just like KFC and to chill the slaw well before serving it. I have made this numerous times since printing it 4/2006. I have even made it w/ equal to cut down on calories.

This is good! However, using that much butter/margarine is scary! Next time I will try only 1/8 of a stick or canola spray. I also want to try to add okra and stewed tomatoes.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Buttermilk Pancakes II

I think this recipe has potential to be very delicious based on others' reviews. However, I decreased the recipe online before printing and I think this is where I went wrong, b/c the pancake was toooo moist. So, I will try it again when we have enough people to eat the full recipe. CAUTION: DO NOT CHANGE THE RECIPE!

Meaty Spaghetti Sauce

This recipe is delicious! It says it is for 32 servings; however, my family eats left overs and generous servings. So, the amt was just right. I did not use any of the meat in the recipe. Instead I added The Best Meatballs submitted to allrecipes.com by Geanine. I added the meatballs during the last 30 minutes of cooking. I served the spaghetti w/ garlic bread and salad. I will be making this again. Next time, I think I will try ground Italian sausage as the meat.

Ground Beef Enchiladas

I gave this recipe 5 stars b/c it tastes absolutely delicious. I used flour tortillas and it still turned out great. I suggest cooking at a higher temp...just be sure to check often. Next time I will try it with chicken. If you are big on appearance, this recipe looks disgusting. Taste weighs more than looks with this one. 1lb of meat is enough. Last, I used sour cream instead of yogurt.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

I guess I am a minority b/c I do not favor this recipe. It took the cookies longer than 8 minutes to get done. Even then, the texture was sandy. This was sweet, gooey, and not the peanut butter cookie I was craving. The presentation of this cookie was awful. The cookies were very greasy; I used Jiffy. I think flour would have soaked up some of the oil from the peanut butter. I will not make this cookie again. I think I will try to find a recipe that has high ratings as well as FLOUR.

Chicken Pasta Primavera

We liked this recipe; however, we like more sauce in our pasta. Next time, I will add some tomato sauce when adding the diced tomatoes. I seasoned the chicken with a generous amt of chicken seasoning b/c of other ratings. Even though there was not enough sauce, it still tasted so good and gave off a very pleasing aroma.
