I love to cook for friends and family. Trying new dishes always excites me. Although I try not to cook a lot of the same meals, we have a few meals that are often repeats - chicken tetrazzini, lasagna, taco soup, and chili. I come from a family of women who love to cook. So, there is always PLENTY of food around at holiday gatherings. My biggest challenge has been frying, but this has almost become a thing of the past :) Several: 1. Muffins that did not rise. 2. Instead of using brewed coffee in chocolate cake recipe that called for coffee, I used the ground beans. 3. Too much salt in countless dishes. But hey, you live and you learn :)
