Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2012
Very easy. My 4 yr old daughter helped. We mixed it in our kitchen aid. I agree, the cookies don't look done when you take them out but if they cook longer will be too crisp. Used 2 tsp vanilla.

Raspberry Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
Delicious. I used 2 cups of frozen(unthawed) raspberries and could have used more. I used apple sauce for most of the oil. I didn't have baking soda so just used 2-3 extra tsp baking powder and a pinch of salt. I only cooked for about 18 mins and the tops were a lovely golden.

Chocolate Chip Cookies Without Chocolate Chips

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
This is just what I was looking for. I'm in Germany and haven't found brown sugar or choco chips. I also had to substitute 3 tsp baking powder for the soda. I hand mixed because that is what I have. They turned out perfect. I'm not sure what they will be like when they cool, or if they will last that long.

Uncle Mac's Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2009
Made with half splenda just because. They turned out yummy. Half the dough I added chocolate chips and didn't use the jelly. Both ways were delicious.

I made these for a picnic. There were none left over. I also used natural peanut butter.

Very Simple Spelt Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
I halved the recipe as well. It made 1 normal sized loaf. Cook time was about the same though. I also used honey and brown sugar because I was out of molasses. Seems like a hard recipe to mess up. Tastes good too :)

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
This turned out great. Used cilantro in lieu of parsley because that was what I had. Added a little garlic to the honey mustard mix because I love garlic. I also used a little olive oil instead of more butter since I made a 3lb fillet. My sister in law even took the recipe home with her.

Whole Wheat Bread II

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
I used just regular whole wheat and unbleached flour and it turned out great. Lots of delicious bread and it was fairly easy to do. I will make it again soon.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
I added extra milk like recommended by others. They turned out great and were best when warm. However, after a day or two they were rock hard, but made good scones with tea. Especially since they weren't over sweet (I left off the topping). I might try them again.

Thumbprint Cookies II

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
I was hesitant at first from the other reviews. I made these and they turned out great. I added just a dollop of milk because the batter seemed very dry when mixing. Then the batter seemed too soft when I was done mixing. However, they tasted great. They were a tiny bit crumbly but thats ok. I'll definitely make them again. I also used walnuts instead of pecans because I like them better that way.

Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2005
This bread was really quite simple to make and yummy. I didn't get the swirls right but next time i will. I just put all the initial items into a mixer with a dough hook in no specific order instead of a bread machine . Thanks
