Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

This was an easy recipe, and had great flavor. there was more than enough juice after cooking, so I took another readers advise and strained out most of it. We have 1/2 in the freezer for a later recipe. Looking forward to it down the road.

Make Ahead French Toast

The reason for the 3 stars was because it was much too sweet. I will have to find a way to cut back on the sugar next time.

Clone of a Cinnabon

I have no comparison since I have never made these before. But they were yummy. Very rich, and I like to think that I have a pretty strong sweet tooth, and can withstand the sweetness. I do not have a bread machine, so followed another user's instructions on how do to do so without. I did have trouble getting the dough to rise. However, were still plenty large enough. Will definitely make again, but will cut back on the brown sugar, cinnamon mixture.

Pretzel Salad II

Tastes good. However I can never get the cream cheese layer right. Once I add the jello, it seeps through to the bottom, and the layers are all innertwined. I will continue to practice.

Pierogi (Polish Dumplings)

My husband did not know what a Pierogi was, and was a little bit hesitant to try these. Once he ate them, he loved them. He is german, and this reminded him of a german dish his grandmother used to make. We definately make again.

Indoor S'mores

I was looking for a very simular recipe and came across this one. After reading some of the other reviews, I came up with some alterations that turned out just as the recipe I was looking for. Instead of melting the marshmallows in with the chocolate, I mixed them in with the cereal. I only used 4 cups marshmallows, and 6 cups cereal. This way, the chocolate mixture was coating the cereal and marshmallows together. Everyone loved them.

Mint Chocolate Fudge

The taste was very good, but not a traditional fudge. Everyone at my work liked it, however I found it to taste too much like melted chocolate chips. I will make again for the holidays until I find a better recipe.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Not your traditional Shrimp Scampi, but very good. I made this for my husband and in-laws. Everyone loved it. Even my husband, who does not eat any type of seafood, like it and went back for seconds.

Apple Walnut Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette

This recipe was OK. I will make it again, but with some substitutiions. The dressing had a very strong onion flavor. I may try a different type of onion. I will also try adding some fetta cheese.

New York Cheesecake III

My Husband loved this recipe. I made it for his birthday, and we could not eat it within a reasonable time frame. So I took the remainder and froze it in an air tight container. It tasted just as good 4 months later as it did when I first baked it.

Cheater's Enchiladas

I made this for a quick meal during lent, when Catholics are not supposed to eat meat on Fridays. It served it's purpose and my husband liked it. I wouldn't serve it to company, but I would defiantely make again for the family.

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

I will not make this recipe again. I consider myself a very good cook or baker, and I am also very capable of following a recipe. There was not enough to the crust to cover the entire 9x13 pan. I had to press it extremely thin and still had about 3-1/2 inches at the end of the pan that did not get covered. Due to the thin crust, I only baked for 1/2 the time and it came out browned to a crisp. The filling did not have any taste of lemon, and the edges were black by the time I took this out of the over the second time.
