About this Cook
I hate cooking! As the years go by I am learning to like it little by little. I am forced to cook for my family since I am a housewife.
My favorite things to cook
Easy one pan/one baking dish meals!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
When my husband makes breakfast on the weekends!!!
My cooking triumphs
I actually ENJOYED cooking a meal for my husband the other day. It really made me happy to make something for him to eat. This is a first. We've been married for 7 years. I'd say I am making progress!
My cooking tragedies
There have been way too many to list here. Sadly.

Cartoon Cake
This is a really great semi home made cake idea. I have made it several times and received rave reviews from everyone who has eaten it. I did end up adding oil into the cake mix so that it would come out a little more moist. I also don't top it with more cherry filling, the filling inside is enough cherryliciousness!! Thanks for the great recipe!

Sugar Cookie Icing
Great basic recipe for beautiful, colorful, glossy frosting. I have to work at it each time to get the right consistency. Tip: add a little more milk to make it thinner and easier to brush onto the cookies (if you are getting artistic, like I do). Adding more syrup will not allow it to dry and it will stay gooey until you eat them! I use frosting food colors from the cake decorating section of my craft store, they work great.
