Lazygirl's Ground Turkey Stroganoff

Blueberry Dump Cake

I loved this with vanilla ice cream!!! I did as another rater suggested and I thinly sliced the butter rather than pouring melted butter. I used a potato peeler with cold butter.

This crust got the kid stamp of approval. There was nothing left on a plate and no comments of the crust was too dry! This crust tastes like a shortbread cookie and added so much to my apple pie. I made it according to the recipe.

Pumpkin Dump Cake

My school age kids loved it and that is high praise. I did have to substitute a white cake for the spice cake, because that is what was in the pantry. I sprinkled some pumpkin pie spice over the cake mix for the spice effect. I also omitted the pecans because the troop I fed doesn't like nuts. It was delicious. I'm making it for friends today and am going to follow the recipe exactly, but it's good to know that I can substitute and still get good results.

Asian Turkey Burgers

My kids liked these! My kids liked these! Yeah! My husband and I like garlic, so I doubled that. I did the preparation and he grilled them to perfection. He commented that they really stayed together well, which doesn't always happen with turkey burgers. We topped them with a pineapple ring which a favorite restaurant does. I'll be making these again.

Blue Cheese Chicken Wing Dip

Sweet Potato and Apple Casserole

This was a hit at Thanksgiving! I'm not a big fan of sweet potatoes, but I had seconds of these. My family doesn't like really sweet sweet potato dishes, so I used 1/4 cup of brown sugar over the potatoes and then 1/4 cup over the apples and they were still plenty yummy.

Overnight Raisin Oatmeal Pancakes

I loved these! I did double the cinnamon and raisins. Even a little more cinnamon would have made them even better. My children tend to like just plain pancakes and liked these, but didn't ask for seconds or ask me to make these again. I even enjoyed these cold with a little peanut butter on the next morning.

Chocolate Walnut Strudel

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup

WOW! This was so yummy! I followed someone else's suggestion and cooked the sausage on an indoor grill. I used turkey rather than traditional sausage and sliced it rather than using it ground. I also omitted the zucchini because it's not a texture I thought my family would care for. It's all gone and I can't wait to make it again!

Smashed Cauliflower

I made this once when I wanted mashed potatoes, but was out of potatoes. We loved it! I followed the suggestions and only used 1 1/2 cups of broth and even then I drained off some before mashing.
