Hamburger Potato Casserole

Reviewed: May 23, 2001
I prepared this recipe as written, added a can of creamed corn, and layered the ingrdeients in a crockpot. It cooked on LOW all afternoon and was delicious, no fuss, & didn't heat up my already warm house.

Lime Gelatin Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
I've been making this recipe for as long as I can remember. I got it from my grandma, and streamlined it by "blenderizing" it rather than just mashing the pears. SO yummy, smooth and refreshing. It has become just as important as Green Bean cassrole & Candied Yams on our Thanksgiving table.

I followed other reviewers advice and doubled the sauce. Marinated for about an hour, then cooked as directed, basting with remainging sauce. The end result was just"ok", I won't use this recipe again though.

I love this recipe! It's actually great summer recipe as the crockpot won't heat up the kitchen like the oven will!!!

Grilled Asian Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2000
I fixed this the other night over on our firepit (not a gas grill or briquettes, a slow fire) and it was wonderful! Also, regular vegetable oil worked fine in place of the sesame oil.
