Grill Dough

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2005
I would give this 10 stars if I could.....This was wonderful. We took the pizza dough, cooked it on both sides on low-medium on the grill, bring it inside, put on the toppings on broil it until the cheese bubbles. My husband and I will not ever eat any other pizza again we have decided!! It was SOOOOOO good!!!! The only difference that I did with the dough is adding 2 teaspoons of sugar...it gives it a slightly sweeter flavor, I suggest it highly!! If you want to try the best pizza in the world, MAKE THIS!!!

I thought that this was pretty good, but my husband hated it.....we did it under the broiler....maybe it would have been better done on the grill??

Handsome Party Punch

Reviewed: May 9, 2005
Very good. Also put a lemon ice ring in it and it tasted good that way too. The sherbet melts funny on the top so after awhile don't forget to stir it once in awhile

this was good but did not taste like the ones that you can get at the store....I think I will stick with doing whole chickens a different way. We love spicy food but this was a little too heavy

Roast Leg of Lamb with Rosemary

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2005
Well I made this today for an easter celebration for family and it turned out very good....the flavorings were very tasty...problem with the whole meal is that it turns out that my husband, myself, and our two young children HATE lamb....oops...but everyone else thought that it was wonderful. I used my food processor to make the marinade and it came out very nicely with a little olive oil in the mix. Thank you even though we didn't like lamb

A bit too sweet for our tastes...I used a good balsamic vinegar and a good organic honey... it had a good flavor though...might make again...kids (2-1/2 and 1) LOVED it though... they split a T-bone steak between the two of them......

Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2005
these were awesome chicken nuggets. I decided to make them for my 2-1/2 yo daughter and 1 yo son. They have just eatten them up. I did several things different: added extra sesame seeds (toasted), added a crumbled ritz cracker or two (added a nice buttery flavor it was lacking), and I deep fried them. Oh my goodness.....my daughter loves McNuggets and she loved these....one suggestion, if you cut them into smaller pieces and deep fry them they come out like popcorn chicken!!

Southern Living Magazine's Chicken-Fried Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2005
I grew up in Texas and loved Chicken Fried Steak as a kid and although this tasted good my husband and I agree that the quality of the meat really makes a difference. The breading was awesome but....if you want beef...go out and spend the money to get a good tri-tip steak instead...not worth the money and time to spend to make ANY Chicken Fried Steaks.......will never make or eat again.
