Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2006
I grew up in KK country...we had 3 in a small town :) and these were pretty close....all I changed was to add vanilla and cinnamon to the dough....I had neighbors paying me for these, they thought they were so good.....and closer than driving 30 miles to teh closest KK.....(I moved up to Seattle and missed my KK...Now I have them without the drive...or teh cost).....also made the dough in the Breadmaker...worked great

Made this in the crockput for tonights dinner, except I used pork and followed another reviewers suggestion of the rice vinegar....It came out perfect. I served it on Indian frybread with lettuce, tomato, and chives as a topping....PERFECT

Fry Bread II

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2006
My family just loves these....I have made them twice now...and they always go fast. One suggestion to everyone though, these are only good warm...so you can fry up what you need and put the rest of the dough in teh fridge for the next day to fry up.....that way they are always made fresh, but the dough is made once..... :) These are make awesome frybread for a great tex-mex dinner!!!

Asian Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2006
This wasn't bad...but it was too thick on the flavors on the marinade. If you don't like the flavor of salmon, it might be good, but for us living here in Seattle, this ruined the delicate flavor of the fish. We will not be having this again.

This is good, but not real authentic to what I am used to. If looking for real flavor, try a different recipe

This recipe has been made a number of times and is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I usually make it with leftover pasta sauce (made from this site) and it only gets better each time we make it

Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2006
I made these the other day and was worried that my husband would not like it....but he almost couldn't wait until he got them off of the grill....it was a hit with my young kids and with me and my husband!! I did add extra peanut butter and had to put it into my blender to make it creamy.....Also, I didn't skewer them...instead I cut them into decent sized chunks....left them for two days (almost forgot about it) and then we grilled them....oh so delish!!
