Chocolate Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2015
This doesn't taste like an eclair, but it is really good. Made with normal grahams, and made the chocolate topping but cooked until thicker

Burger or Hot Dog Buns

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2015
Since finding this recipe I refuse to buy buns. I usually only need 4 buns so I take the rest of the dough and make pizza "hot pockets" with it. It is a perfect dough

Pasta/Pizza Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2014
This is the best pizza sauce recipe out of the dozens I have tried. Subbed Apple cider vinegar for the wine, brown sugar for the white, and added anise into it.

Naan

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2013
This is the most amazing naan bread I have tried. I do follow the suggestions and add a total of 3 teaspoons of yeast and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. It always comes out light and fluffy. As per other suggestions, start with 3.5 cups of flour....4.5 always comes out tough...

Greasy Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2013
Decided to throw some frozen chicken thighs in the slow-cooker with the rest of the ingredients. Cooked for about 5 hours on high until the chicken shredded. Thought it was a little bland...so I added basil, paprika, and instead of salt, I used alder-smoked salt. It turned out really good with the add-ins...I really suggest slow-cooker for cooking this recipe

Pepperoni Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2013
This was the best. I did cut the sugar to 1/2 cup. I also added garlic and Italian herbs to the bread. Made it as pepperoni rolls first and now making them as "hot pockets" stuffed with everything from pepperoni to ham to tonight is leftover pot roast stuffed inside.

Farmer's Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2013
UPDATE: It is now my go-to recipe for making focaccia bread. I make 1/2 a loaf and add 1/4 cup sugar to the yeast/water mixture. After the first rise, I roll it out to 9x13 and place on baking sheet. I spread a butter/honey/salt mixture on and then sprinkle with Italian seasonings..... BEST in the world

Spring Biscotti

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
These are AMAZING! Decided to try these to give as gifts for the holidays. Didn't use cranberries or pistachios, but instead used chopped almonds and coconut. I also used extra orange zest and the juice of one orange. As almost everyone receiving them is a tea drinker, these will be PERFECT!!

Aunt Edith's Baked Pancake

I have made this many times. It is one of my favorite go-to breakfast foods. I usually add a little brown sugar and vanilla. Today I added some frozen blueberries into the batter and we will be seeing how that turns out.

Peanut Butter Popcorn

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
This is my go-to snack for my family. My husband and kids LOVE it. I use less brown sugar and less marshmallows and LOTS of extra peanut butter. Since I air-pop, I add about 2 teaspoons of salt to the mix...otherwise it comes out tasting really bland. This time I also added a little vanilla extract to the mix...we will have to see how it comes out (it is currently baking) It also makes the house smell good when baking!

Sourdough Starter I

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
This is the best sourdough starter I have ever tried. I have previously tried others on this site and they have never some out the way that I want them to. This one is so simple that my 7 and 8 year olds can feed it and make bread with it.

Sourdough Bread I

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
This is an amazing bread. I highly suggest using Becky's sourdough starter that uses potato flakes to make this bread with. I have made plain bread, rolls, and cinnamon bread with it. I personally use the bread rising setting on my dehydrator and do a 4 hour rise the first time and a 2 hour rise the second time. I am currently making bread sticks with it. I have not let it rise overnight (too cold in my house) Oh Yummy!!!
