Chicken Stroganoff II

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2005
I was looking for a cream based stroganoff recipe for chicken and I stumbled upon this recipe. I wasn't too crazy about the tomato soup so I used cream of mushroom instead and I added a 16 oz. container of sour cream. I served it over egg noodles and it was a hit! The onion soup made it taste a bit like onion soup dip and it makes your guests wonder what that delicious secret ingredient is. This modified version is going into my rotation!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2005
I made this since it was simple and sounded good. It exceeded my expectations!! The smell of it when it cooks is wonderful. I would suggest increasing the amount of bread crumbs and parmesan and use more garlic in the oil if you really like it garlicky like I do. Let the garlic stick to the meat before breading it to give it flavor. The chicken comes out moist and brown and very flavorful. I actually crave this one now! Try it!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2005
This was pretty good although I did change it a bit. I only used 2/3 of the mayo and I used cream cheese instead of feta. I aded about 1/4 cup bread crumbs also. It came out pretty good, my husband said he liked it, but next time I'l cover it until the last 15-20 minutes so that it stays moister.

Guy Approved Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2005
I didn't have liquid smoke, but I used KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce which is kind of smoky and the bacon was rosewood smoked so I don't think I needed it. I forgot to add the garlic powder and but this meatloaf still was terrific!! My huband and my brother were raving about it! This one has made it into my recipe box and into my monthly dinner rotation!

Stovetop Pork Chops and Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2005
This is a very satisfying meat and potatoes kind of meal that is not boring. I had to top it off with half and half to cover the potatoes since I ran out of milk and turned out extra creamy & delicious! I added this recipe to my recipe box and would definately make it again.
