Limehouse Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2012
One of my best finds in a long long time!!!! The brown sugar and mint you put over the top kind of caramelizes over the chicken creating a nice light crust on the top. The flavors are amazing, and this is the first time I can say that for a first run with a recipe without altering and adding my own touches to it. I should have made a double recipe for my family of 4 as a fight almost broke out with my kids over who got the last piece of chicken. This will be in the regular rotation for sure! Thanks for the awesome recipe!

Frank's Favorite Slow-Cooker Thai Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2012
I'm a "heavy spicer" and this dish just did not have the full flavor I was looking for. It had a bit too much ginger for my taste. My husband and kids were not too thrilled with it either. It's not a bad dish and was very easy to make, it is just not for my pallet so I gave it 3 stars.

Islander Artichoke and Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2012
Made the dip warm and it was fantastic! The next day went to reheat the leftover dip and noticed that it gets really greasy when reheated so I ate the last little bits cold even after making it warm the previous day and it was still every bit as fantastic. Glad I found this right before Super Bowl, I will bring this with to the party and I am sure it will over shadow anything anyone brings!

Fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2012
Fantastic recipe, came out just like my favorite bar/restaurant cheese sticks. I did follow other recommendations and froze the cheese first. Make sure if your making these your not doing anything else, it really does cook fast and even with the cheese frozen takes no time for the cheese to start oozing out if your not paying enough attention.

Appetizer Mussels

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2011
I always enjoy these mussels in the recipe as is. I also enjoy making a 9 serving size or so for my family of 4 and throwing some pasta and a can of petite diced tomatoes into the sauce as well to make it like a soup almost and serve with warm french bread for dipping.

A Southern Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2010
Not what I expected at all. The breading came out massively thick and softer even after cooking longer. Could have done something wrong but I don't think this is my kind of recipe. I would be willing to try again but will not dredge chicken more then once.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
I was not a fan of the tangy taste to the sauce, so I added on teaspoon of cornstartch and just enough water to disolve it in a cup, and stirred it into the sauce, once thickened a bit I added 1 1/2 cups of water and 1 1/2 teaspoons of beef boullion to it to give more sauce and a more meaty flavor and my family just loves it.

Potato, Broccoli and Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
I thought this recipe was wonderful, I also added the broccoli to the boiling potatos the last 3-4 minutes and cooked the broccoli in the soup instead of steaming it, but all in all was a great tasting hearty soup

Cousin Cosmo's Greek Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2006
Wonderful flavor, even my husband who does not really care for feta cheese loved this one. I found it easy to just get some boneless, skinless chicken breasts from the store, and there was no need to get out the meat mallet

Mexican Style Shredded Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2006
My husband and son just absolutely love this recipe! This is great for working moms, and even if it sits in the crock pot a few extra hours it still comes out tasting wonderful. I did add a bit of extra chipolte sauce before serving, but this is a wonderful low maintanance meal!
