Insalata Caprese II

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
I have been growing my own basil, so I always wanted to try this since I had it at a restaurant. It was absolutely great! I am keeping this for my summer faves.

Spumoni Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
These were fantastic! I adjusted the recipe for a special Christmas cookie. I split the dough in half, put the cherries in one half and colored it pink, and colored the other half green with almond flavoring and pistachio nuts. Then I split a bag of mini-chips between the 2 halves, and spooned half a scoop of each and put on the cookie sheet. They were great and well-liked!

Mustard Green Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2010
This was delicious, like my mom's recipe I couldn't find! I made it for a potluck and it disappeared! My poor husband didn't get any at all! It is a keeper! I will have to compare this to my mom's recipe. I know my sister has it somewhere!

Cathy's Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2011
The taste is delicious, but it was drying out and beginning to harden before I got the vanilla and PB mixed in. Next time I think I will put the cornstarch and water in with the milk, b utter, sugar, and then add the PB and vanilla when I remove it from the stove.

Tangy Broccoli

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
This is a nice way to vary plain old broccoli. Mostly I have used either the casserole (the one with eggs and mayo) or just sprinkled Parmesan over it, but this was a nice change! I liked it and so did my husband.

Ham 'n' Cheese Egg Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2012
Delicious! I followed the advice of one reviewer who put it in a smaller dish, but it was too thick for me, so I will try it in 9 x 13 next time. I will definitely use this as company overnight dish!

This cake had an excellent flavor, but why was mine dry and heavy? I would like to use it again, but it was not moist and it was heavy. Please help!

This is the same recipes I have used for years, since my kids were small. I like it better than the original marshmallow treats. Good stuff!

This is the favorite recipes we have used for years in our family. It is a favorite at a family meal or a formal Thanksgiving/Christmas feast. It is probably my favorite way of having broccoli! Yum!
