I've finally found the perfect recipe - thanks so much for sharing...!!! I used (as suggested by other reviewers) 1/2 cup white sugar & 1/2 cup brown sugar. Added 1/2 tsp cinnamon & 1 tsp vanilla extract. Baked at recommended temp x 45 mins - then turned off stove and left in stove for 15 mins more.. Turned out perfect!!! Thnx again!

Gingerbread Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2006
I gave this four stars only because I had to change the frosting. Used 8 ounces cream cheese, 2 cups confectioners sugar & added 1/4 tsp lemon extract. The frosting turned out great. The cupcakes were delicious!! A little on the dry side with 20 mins cook time - will try 16 mins next time as another reviewer suggested!

Perfect Turkey

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2007
LOOK NO FURTHER! Oh my goodness, this was a very juicy turkey! I made this for Canadian Thanksgiving and it was a hit! I used chicken broth instead of white wine. I didn't have a bucket big enough for my turkey to brine overnight so I stuck my prepared kosher salt turkey, put it in a heavy duty garbage bag, filled it with water, double bagged it, and stuck it in my crisper drawer in the fridge. Also, I did what previous users did to turn the turkey - two pot handles - worked perfectly. I loved not having to baste it! This was fantastic, I will never make turkey any different for the rest of my life! Thank you so much for sharing!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2007
This is truly the world's greatest lasagna.. I used 1 teaspoon of salt in the sauce only. I omitted the salt in the ricotta cheese mixture. I also added some sliced mushrooms to the sauce. I used mild italian sausage.. As well - I cooked the noodles by soaking them in hot tap water for 30 mins. It turned out FABULOUS! Trust me - once you taste the meat sauce - you will never go back to jarred sauces again!!!! This recipe is a must for a potluck, entertaining guests etc night!

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
I did 2 pounds (2 tenderloins, 1 lb/each). I doubled the soup mix, water -- and left everything else as is. I think as other reviewers had indicated it came out just a little too salty. Next time I will add less soup mix. I cooked 2 hours on HIGH and the 2 hours on LOW. Came out perfect. Very tender, too tender to cut into medalions. Served with potatoes and veggies. My BF loved it. I will definitely make this one again!

Shortbread Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2007
I will keep searching for an alternative shortbread recipe. I followed the recipe to the T. It was hard to cut out with cookie cutters because the mixture kept crumbling. Tasted good in the end, but not exactly what I had hoped after reading all the rave reviews.

Delicious Feta-Crusted Salmon

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2007
This was great. I am not a fan of dijon or balsamic. Tasted great without it! Thanks for sharing. The bread crumb topping makes it extra special.

Awesome Roast Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2007
I had a two pound tip sirloin roast. I added 1 pkg dry onion soup mix, a cup of fresh sliced mushrooms, 2 mushroom soup cans, 1 can of beef broth, fresh sliced onions.. It turned out just perfect. The roast does not slice like a traditional roast by any means as it came out so tender. Total cook time for my 2 lb = 7.5 hours on low. The gravy is EXCELLENT & goes great with mashed potatoes & yorkies! I will definitely keep this recipe, thank you for sharing =)

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
THE BEST BROWNIES! This is definitely a keeper! Look no further. I did change a few things as some other reviewers suggested: I used 2 eggs, 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa, added 1 cup semisweet baking chips, and omitted the baking powder completely. The brownies came out dense, very chocolatey rich mmmm, and stayed moist for days! Great reviews from co-workers too.

Breaded Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2007
This was a very easy recipe to make on a busy night! Will definitely be keeping this one for a quick meal idea. I used chicken stuffing mix by crushing the cubes. I was a little worried about the curry powder but I used the full teaspoon & you couldn't even taste it in the end.. Cooking time was perfect! A keeper!

Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Perfection

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2007
FABULOUS! I made this today for my boyfriend & I. He rated it as one of the BEST i've made! I marinated the chicken for only 20 mins. I skipped freezing the stuffing. I used 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs instead of stale bread. I also added italian seasoning to the dry mixture. I only used about 1/2 of the dry mixture - next time I will make only half the dry stuff. Cooking time was perfect! Long Bamboo toothpicks work well. The sundried tomatoes make this recipe! Great Flavor -- Thanks so much for sharing this one! Will definatley make this one for the in-laws/parents!

Suki's Spinach and Feta Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
I am rating this 4/5 because the presentation on this dish is not the greatest. It ends up looking mushy with the melted feta. BUT, nevertheless, it TASTES GREAT! I threw in some chopped cooked spicy italian sausage at the end.. MMM

Spinach and Feta Pita Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2007
This was fabulous! I served it for dinner, at the last 5 mins of the cooking time I added slices of precooked chicken breast seasoned with greek seasoning. It was hard with all the toppings on, but definitely worth every bite! Would be great as a light lunch. I utilized basil pesto instead of tomato pesto.
