I love cooking off the beaten path ~ it is a way for me to explore different cultures. Of course Chinese food has always been a tradition in my household. My mom who is Filipino isn't as talented at cooking :( But my Dad definitely made up for it as he is truly my favorite cook of all time! We share recipes back & forth :O Salmon is my forte and and bringing out the oils and succulent flavors have become an art for me. I love to dabble with different infusions whilst trying new twists on old recipes! cannelloni... 2005... (sigh) I remember over cooking the shells ---- they broke apart of course while attempting to stuff them.. Went to the store, bought new shells and still they broke even though I under cooked them! I need to stuff them tactfully next time - I've pretty much said adios to future attempts for now!
