Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
This is completely different from the one that I received back when I first went on the net in 1999. 2 cups butter 4 cups flour 2 tsp. baking soda 2 cups granulated sugar 2 cups brown sugar 5 cups blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal and blend in blender to a fine powder) 24 oz. chocolate chips 1 tsp. salt 1 8 oz. Hershey bar (grated) 4 eggs 2 tsp. baking powder 3 cups chopped nuts (your choice) 2 tsp. vanilla Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet..Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies.. Have Fun!!! This is the original recipe that I got back then with the hoax that it was a Neiman Marcus recipe. Either I have made this recipe above a million times and everyone who tries it loves it. It's a huge recipe but it can be halved.

These are delicious - a big hit here at home. I didn't have semi sweet chocolate chips only milk chocolate so that is what i used and I thought it might turn out to sweet but it did not. Its perfect. Too good cause you are tempted to eat more then one.

Very dry - even followed some of the suggestions - its needs more moisture for sure. Not sure if I will make these again.

Morning Glory Muffins II

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2010
These were absolutely amazing. Do not have a strong carrot taste but is a great blend of flavors. I didn't add the pecans but followed the recipe exactly. However for my second batch I only had a small amount of coconut left so I added the remaining of that and just added more dates. Would never have known the difference. Those who have eaten it enjoyed the muffins very much and went back for seconds.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2010
My son and husband loved this recipe. My nephew could not get enough - I had to stop him at 5 pieces and told him to let someone else get a chance to try it. My two other boys still need to try it but I am sure it will be a hit with them as well. Very moist. As I was mixing it I thought how on earth am I going to mix the dry ingredients with the sugar and oil so I added the zucchini to the sugar/oil mixture first then added the dry. Turned out fabulous . Will definitely be making it again. Shared the recipe with my mom who is making it tonight.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies from Heaven

Easy to bake and the dough was nice and light in appearance. And my kids like it so that is all that matters.
