Hearty Mince

I first had this recipe when staying with a friend. I made a note of it so I could look it up (had to make sure it was THIS recipe!) and make it for my family. We love it. I've made it with some substitutions because I didn't have all the ingredients, and I've made it according to the directions (except I always use butter!). It's always turned out well. Sometimes I have a hard time getting my family to eat leftovers but I never have an issue with this recipe.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

I was looking for something new to try and happened upon this recipe. I actually had to substitute a couple of the ingredients--worcestershire for steak sauce, and sweet hot mustard instead of dijon--and it still turned out great. I also added a clove of garlic. I'll definitely be making this again! :) Next time I hope to have the the right ingredients. haha

Broiled Shrimp Scampi

Scampi is a dish I make fairly frequently, but I opted to try this version rather than my usual recipe... I DEFINITELY plan to use this method again and again. I read the comments and did a little bit of each variation (increased the butter and garlic, added the wine during the last few minutes of cooking, added a generous shake of parsley, some parmesan, you get the idea!). It was awesome. My kids couldn't stop eating it. My two year old ate at least 8 shrimps in addition to her pasta!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Excellent! The first time I made them we loved them, especially my husband who is a Buffalo wings fanatic (he's picky about how they turn out, if we go to a restaraunt and he doesn't like their wings he won't go back!) When I made these the second time I added a Tbs. of Ketchup to thicken the sauce a little, a splash of vinegar and a splash of vodka for a little extra zip. Delicious! I think with the couple extra ingredients I added they turned out more like our favorite restarunts' wings.
