Hasselback Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2014
These were excellent. I felt that I needed more butter that the recipe called for. Also I used garlic salt in place of regular salt. I didn't have Romano,so I used parmesean. I will make these again. My husband and I loved them.

This was very good. I left out the sage and added onion and garlic powder. It was very crispy. I will make this again.

Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2014
The best chicken parmesean that I have ever made. My husband loved it. I didn't have panko so I used what I had. I had Italian bread crumbs. Also I didn't have provolone, so I just used extra parmesean. It was still wonderful!

Ham and Cheese Breakfast Quiche

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2014
I didn't have Monterey Jack, so I used Sharp Cheddar. The Cheddar browned very nicely. It was delicious. My husband loved it. Next time I will do as others have suggested and make the crust the night before.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2014
My family loved it. I did add the cream of mushroom soup (as others have suggested) to the gravy. I did this mostly because there didn't seem to be enough gravy for the potatoes that I was serving with it. It all was delicious! Next time I will add more onions. I will make this again. As a diabetic it was a great way to watch my my carbs. I just omitted the potatoes and added veggies.

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Reviewed: May 17, 2014
It was very good. As others have suggested, I will cut down on the butter in the pan. The flavor was great. I am wondering if I could eliminate the flour step and mix the seasonings with the cheese and bread crumbs. This recipe is a keeper.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2014
The chicken was tender and moist. The chicken itself was perfect. The sauce was just Ok. It was not sweet enough or tangy enough. Either would have been better than this strange, bland taste. I will not make it again.

Cheesecake Supreme

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2014
This was a great recipe for the lighter, fluffier style of New York cheesecake. My husband, a former New Yorker, says that it could be served in any restaurant. It has a wonderful flavor and has a light texture. I served it with Allrecipe's Supreme Strawberry Topping. I will say that I cooked it at 400 degrees for 20 minutes and then at 200 degrees for an hour and 10 minutes. Great recipe. I will use it every time I make cheesecake!

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2014
My husband went back for THIRDS,and he does not like broccoli! So this one is a keeper. I didn't have few ingredients. I had to substitute green grapes for the red, the sunflower seeds for slivered almonds, and yellow onions for the red. It was still wonderful! I also recognized the dressing as my mother's coleslaw dressing that we have made for years. This was a wonderful twist on that flavor that the family has always loved. I will definitely make it again with the proper ingredients.

Stromboli

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2014
I have been making Stromboli for awhile. This is a nice change from the lunch meat versions. I also use garlic and oregano inside and out. I slice the leftovers, put them in baggies, then pop them in the freezer. My husband and I just grab one on the way to work.

Leftover Ham -n- Potato Casserole

The flavor was just OK. I will admit that I had to use pasta because I didn't have enough potatoes on hand. Still I felt that the overall flavor was just OK.
