Penne Pasta with Cannellini Beans and Escarole

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
It's a great start, but it was pretty bland. It looks beautiful, a nice change from regular tomato sauce.

Curried Cauliflower Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2014
This was really good, the type of curry you use will make all the difference. I thought it was too thin, next time I will use a 32 oz carton of broth instead of 5 cups.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2014
Delicious! I thought the spinach might be overpowering, but it wasn't at all. This is a great option for low-carb dieters, but anyone will think it's yummy. I will try this next time with chopped broccoli for a little variety.

This was very simple and quick, and very tasty. It made tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches a fancy affair!

Garlicky Quinoa and Garbanzo Bean Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2013
I made this as written, and did not care for it. I couldn't figure out what it was that I didn't like. Maybe the tarragon? It just seemed to be missing something.

Indian Sweet Potato and Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2013
This was really good, and very simple to make. I followed the recipe exactly and the lentils were a little underdone for my taste, but I will definitely make this again. The sweet potato was a really nice addition!

Quick Asian Beef Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2011
I should have known this wouldn't be good based on the ingredients, but I wanted to use up some Bok Choy I had on hand. It didn't have much flavor and wasn't worth the sodium overload.

Easy Pepperoni Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
This is so simple and people always love it when I make it. I've made it with and without olive oil - I don't think it needs it & leaving it out saves fat & calories.

Bar Cookies from Cake Mix

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2008
I love this recipe for the simplicity (one bowl, one spoon, one measuring cup, and one pan), but these cookies are so yummy too! I have made them twice - once with a white cake mix and once with a yellow cake mix. Both were good - I actually preferred the yellow, it had more of a vanilla taste. People love these and have no idea how easy they are to make.

Peanut Butter Vegetable Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2008
Well worth trying - the peanut butter really adds something! I've made this a couple of times. The first time I followed the directions the second time I included leftover turkey and Thanksgiving vegetables (carrots, parsnips, sweet potato). It's a very forgiving recipe - I think you can use what's on hand.

Tortellini Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
This was delicious! I used bulk hot italian sausage from the grocery store butcher and it wasn't too spicy - just right. I also wilted some fresh spinach I had on hand just after the onions and garlic were cooking. Very good!

Chicken Tortilla Soup III

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2007
This was very flavorful and yummy! I used 2C. half & half and 2C. skim milk and it was still very creamy. Like other reveiwers I also put some of the cheese directly in the soup. Next time I may add black beans.

Turkey Shepherd's Pie

Great way to use leftovers without micro-waving. I adjusted amounts to use the leftovers I had and it was very good. My boyfriend loved it and ate two heaping servings!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
This was good - but next time I won't use canned chicken. Like previous reviewers I thought it tasted like tuna a little bit. Also - it is VERY spicy and gets hotter the longer it sits!
