About this Cook
Hey there! Just a quick intro; I'm in my mid-twenties, college grad, and I love to cook and taste new things! My mother and grandmother are fantastic cooks but we're pretty much all American. I enjoy baking but have been meaning to learn more dishes that will satisfy my savory palate.
My favorite things to cook
Muffins, soups, custom ramen, all-new things, pretty much anything with potatoes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Corn beef and cabbage on St. Patty's Day with soda bread and green river floats
My cooking triumphs
Pasta salad that I once threw together with leftover seasoned chicken breast, tuscan herb olive oil, giardeniera, and some spices.
My cooking tragedies
Several attempts at apple cider cupcakes, one batch that ended up goopy, then another batch that ended up to be bricks. Experimented and fixed by using an apple cider whiskey instead!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
This worked out great! I was very pleased that these were so easy to make and were very tasty. I tried the suggestions made by SVROSS and I split the batch. I did plain chocolate chip and used some leftover hazelnuts to make hazelnut chocolate chip. They both turned out great! We ended up liking the hazelnut chocolate chip just a smidgen more because of the added texture and taste. Loved it!

Braseltouille - Meatatarian Ratatouille
LOVE this dish! We don't change a thing about it and it's a regular in our home. I recommend it as a gateway dish to introduce squash to your family or friends. It certainly got us to try more squash dishes!

Rosemary Roasted Butternut Squash
For this recipe I followed it to the T minus fresh rosemary. I only had dried on hand and it still came out delicious! I've made this multiple times and look forward to bringing it to events so other people can try too.
