Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2005
Wonderfully delectable. This recipe combines flavors to produce the best tasting chicken I have ever had in my mouth. Great with basmati and naan.

Marrakesh Vegetable Curry

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2004
This dish was flavorful and very nutritious. I added more spices to suit my own tastes and served with basmati rice and pita bread. My family apprehensively tried it and was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely make it again.

Kentucky Hot Brown

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2004
Kentucky lady approved! Here in Kentucky, we eat this often. It is great for holiday leftovers or you could get some turkey sliced thick from the deli. Either way, it is delicious. Also, if you have ham, sometimes we throw them both in. This recipe was on target, but I must say I have never had it with mushrooms, so I did not include them when I made this recipe. The cheese sauce was good, but I will add that you don't necessarily have to use parmesan cheese. Here in Kentucky, we use whatever we have on hand. Suprisingly, Velveeta works great in this recipe. However, if you use Velveeta, don't tell anyone because it cuts down on the classiness of the dish. lol

Sushi Roll

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2004
Excellent recipe. Very easy to make and it tastes like it comes from a sushi bar. I moved to a small town from a large city, and sushi is not available to me now. So, this recipe is a godsend. If I would have known that I could make sushi of this quality when I lived in the city, I would have saved a lot of money! :)

Italian Roast Beef I

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2004
Very good. I made this in the pressure cooker. I increased water to 2 1/2 cups and pressurized under 10lbs for an hour. I then shredded the meat and served with fresh baked italian bread. The whole family loved it. We even ate the leftovers, which is not something we usually do. Bravo!

just ok. It will do in a pinch, but was very bland, thick, and hard to chew.

okay for a substitute, but they did not taste or have the texture of naan. Presentation is still pretty good, though.

Very rich taste. I personally don't think it is worth the trouble, though.

Fabulous and easy. I used 3 eggs and 1/2 c of sugar, as recommended by other reviewers. I also sprinkled brown sugar on top. Was delicious with vanilla ice cream.
