Flavorful Flounder

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2012
Awesome! I baked it on 350, added pepper, and used DiGorno's shredded Parmesan, Asagio, and Romano blend. It was delicious. Even my 9-year-old gobbled it up.

New York Italian Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2011
This is a GREAT dough! My kids and hubby loved it. He couldn't figure out why mine turned out so much better than his (it's because I use allrecipes and he doesn't)!

Fragrant Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2011
I really like this, but I had to add more spices to it. I added a lot more curry, and ended up throwing in additional stuff as well. I drained the tomatoes and used the can of stewed ones with red peppers in it for extra spice. I'm sorry I can't tell you exactly what I added because I did it to taste. I would suggest everyone else do the same.

Christmas Morning Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
This is a really good quiche recipe! I cooked the sausage and then at the end I sauteed the onion and peppers with it, then added in all end. Also, I added some of the real bacon recipe pieces (from Oscar Myer) into it before baking it to give it another flavor as well. I think next time I am going to try making it with ham instead of sausage just to try something different. The good thing about this recipe is that you can just change the meat and have tons of different tastes!

BBQ Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
This is pretty good. It kind of reminds me of manwich. I added sweet BBQ sauce (probably like 1/4 a cup) to it, just to make it more BBQ-ish.

Chicken and Dumplings IV

Reviewed: May 24, 2010
This is a great starter recipe! I added a stick of butter, used swanson chicken broth along with the broth from the chicken (but I strained it after cooking in a separate pot because I HATE scummy dumplings,) and I used cans of biscuits to make the dumplings. It was awesome, just like my mom always makes it! I couldn't believe how easy it was considering this was my first time making my favorite dish, had I known then I would've made it long ago! My son and husband both had three bowls each!

Florentine Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: May 23, 2010
This was pretty good but I think next time I am going to use boneless skinless chicken as that's my preference. I can see how the skin holds in the moisture but it also took much longer to cook and it just didn't get as much of the flavors into the chicken as I would've liked. Also, next time I am going to add less Parmesan and put in some roasted garlic. I added sea salt, pepper and paprika to the mixture before adding it in and I am glad that I did; I think it would be too bland without it. Also, the spaghetti sauce I used was Mezetta Artichoke Marinara because we love artichokes. I feel that gave it a good flavoring as well. Overall my family enjoyed this, even my 7 year old ate it.

DELICIOUS! I added some real bacon bits just because I love bacon and blue cheese and man was it good. My hubby and I love this recipe!

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
My family absolutely loved this! I added fresh cilantro and used the whole lime instead of half but other than that we followed the recipe completely and it was fast, easy, and delicious!

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
This is really good! My kids are french toast obsessed so of course they loved it. Also, had to laugh at the person who said they hate reviewers who correct recipes but then you click on their profile and their reviews are full of corrections on other ones! ha! FYI-- I happen to love suggestions on recipes so keep them coming! It saves me from wasting money on something if it just isn't working in a recipe. Who wants to spend all that time (and money) to make a mistake on a recipe that someone else also made and could have helped you prevent? Keep them coming!

Squash Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
This recipe was good. The stuffing is great, but the chicken is lacking in flavor. My chicken breasts were thick so I doubled the amount of squash, and cheese in the stuffing. Also, next time instead of adding flour to the breasts, I am going to coat them with a bit of olive oil and minced garlic and brown them that way. There's just no flavor in the chicken otherwise. It's a great starter recipe to play with, for sure!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2007
This was absolutely amazing! I added some garlic powder and also a pinch of season-all salt to the mixture. I had a bit too much sauce left when I made it but other than that, it was awesome. The sauce was so good that we just dumped it onto our pot pie pieces after it was done! :) I've made this a few times now and every time it is a winner!

Garlic Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2007
I've been making this for years (not from this recipe) and I must say, it's a must have for my family! A few suggestions, garlic powder does not do it justice! I use the sweet corn and shuck it, then I put it on the foil (individually) and spray it down really well with spray butter (that way it is evenly distributed.) Then I take roasted minced garlic and spread it out all over the corn (not too much, about a 1/2 tsp or so, I guess) and then I add some salt and pepper, wrap it up tight and grill it. It's AWESOME! Everyone loves it!

Simple Mac and Cheese

My family absolutely loved this recipe. I added 3 times the cheese as someone else had suggested and also added garlic powder to it, it turned out wonderful. In fact, I am making it again tonight :)
