I love to cook. I learned early from my mother and practice often. This blog is a way to share my recipes with the rest of the foodies out there! I will include occasional parenting advice or crafts. This will be primarily a food and entertaining website.

I have a background in journalism (both Motorsports and as a parenting columnist) I am also a Certified Secondary Ed Social Studies Teacher. Currently I’m a stay at home mom who loves planning parties and entertaining so follow me on this journey, as we “Cook up a storm!”

About Me
I am married with a wonderful son and a baby daughter on the way in April!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook to impress. It doesn't always come out the way it should... sometimes it comes out even better!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother authored a successful muffin cookbook and newsletter in the 80's and 90's so I owe every talent I have in cooking to her!
My cooking triumphs
Making my family and friends happy.
My cooking tragedies
Well, recently cooked New Years dinner for friends of ours and discovered for some reason, even following a recipe... stuff didn't come out as planned. Oh well.
